Hotel is visually and architecturally stunning, even more so than the pictures. You don’t spend a minute there not feeling you’re incredibly fortunate to be able to experience it. I know there are two or so other hotels that compete for Tierra’s business but I simply can’t imagine anything about them would compensate for the absolutely stunning design of Tierra’s facilities and overall vibe. I should add that the staff and tours were terrific and the food, cocktails, and wine were all something to look forward to when you were out for long hikes! There is so much more that can be said about this wonderful place, but I encourage you to just experience it yourself.

This luxurious brilliantly designed 40 room hotel fits seamlessly into the land. If you can afford it you will be rewarded with a helpful and friendly staff from the managers, wait staff, spa staff and house cleaning staff. The place is immaculate and the guides and hikes that are included are first rate. The food and bar are all included and lots of choices for a variety of tastes.

I am hard-pressed choosing which was more impactful: the otherworldly landscape, the building befitting this magical location -or - the warm, gracious, perfect staff. I have traveled all over the world and stayed at some of the most iconic hotels, but never have I felt so welcome and cared for as we were at Tierra. This one tops them all. Tears pricked my eyes upon arrival; the view unfolding as you walk from the lobby to the great room is a carefully choreographed wonder. Once you arrive in what will be your breakfast, dining and hangout room, you are greeted by a warming fire, welcome drink and an opportunity to discuss your itinerary and aspirations. So much of our experience was a function of Nicholas. His patient intro to the property instantly defused travel stress. Kineret and the guides obviously love their work and this land and go out of their way to ensure you do as well. The restaurant staff, wonderful housekeeping (thoughtful touches every day…won’t spoil your surprise)…we were just so damn well cared for. As I got on the bus for my return flight, I had tears on my eyes again! because I would miss the place and people so much. Though I obsessed over my hotel choices - reading reviews and studying photographs - nothing does justice to the real life experience. If this sounds like a love letter, it is! If you can make it work, do!

We had high expectations of Tierra Patagonia having read previous reviews! Well what can I say other than it exceeded all our expectations! Firstly the accommodation - superb view I would think from all rooms but we were in room 20 and our view was spectacular. The room was well styled and very functional not one thing negative to say. Secondly the food - breakfast before the excretions of a physical day were great. The lunches and dinner menu’s varied each day we were there. Brilliant. Thirdly - restaurant staff - all of the staff were absolutely amazing but for us Tomás, Benjamin & Felipe stood out for their friendly and attentive service but probably most endearing for us was their sense of humour whilst remaining professional. First class. Last but by no means least the Guides - we walked the Grey Glacier with our guides Luis, Pam & Fernando what an absolute blast we had, at times I was struggling as it was quite tough terrain but Luis was always there to lift my spirits and make it to the end. Sensational. Overall a fantastic experience thank you Tierra Patagonia ✅

Just finished an amazing 6 night stay at Tierra Patagonia! Such a fantastic experience. Everyone here was so caring and kind, service was impeccable all around. We had a superior room which was perfect although we spent almost no time in it between excursions and lounging in various parts of the hotel. Every window in the hotel has an amazing view of the Paine Massif. The excursions really made the trip. Highly recommend French Valley, Bridges over grey glacier, and Base of the Towers. If you manage to get Luis or Pepe as a guide you are truly blessed, although you can’t go wrong with any of the guides, they really made our trip so special and memorable. Thank you so much Tierra Patagonia, you are officially our all time favorite destination!

We absolutely loved our experience at Tierra Patagonia and were sad to leave. Excellent excursion options, fantastic guides, delicious (and varied) cuisine, gorgeous hotel architecture...it was a magical experience. We were the first visitors of the season, spending enough time (6 nights) to enjoy most of the excursion options. This allowed us to avoid the crowds at the park and get a bit more one-on-one attention from the staff. We saw pumas, guanacos, and a ton of birds. We would return in a heartbeat.

One of the most gorgeous hotels I have ever stayed at with the most kind staff. The views are stunning no matter where you are in the hotel. Since the hotel only accommodates 80 people, the staff really knows each guest and their needs/preferences. Everyone is so kind and warm and helpful. The food is delicious, and there are so many special touches (a unique Chilean gift with turndown service every night). With regard to the excursions, the staff work to fit in everything you want to do. Some of them involve a lot of time in the car, because the hotel isn't as centrally located inside the park. I think it's worth it to be a little further to be at this caliber of hotel though.

Wow this place is incredible from start to finish. I almost cried with I saw the view from our bed. Fantastic and chill place. Amazing varied tours with excellent guides. Food and drink perfect. Cannot complain about anything. Nicholas the hotel manager made a special effort with everyone.

Everything was perfect - location, hotel/rooms, excursions and staff! We did all the big hikes and the guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Food was great. Rooms are amazing with spectacular views. Great attention to detail, such as sandwiches/snacks for the journey back to the airport! Highly recommend this hotel.
