We took a boat ride hosted by the hotel. Captain Sergio was wonderful, made us feel safe and indulged. We stopped and snorkeled and enjoyed a lovely snack. It was one of the highlights of our vacation. It was easy to schedule and find the boat as well

Beautiful grounds, wonderful bar, excellent staff at the bar. So far, that's all the good things we've seen. After checking in, we went to the restaurant to book a table for dinner, but we were refused because, according to Marian, everything was busy, his communication was rude and unpleasant, considering that there are so many tables in the restaurant, we doubted. As a result, I had to go to the city to eat. Upon our return, we saw that the floor of the restaurant was free, great :) It's June 22nd. There is no ventilation in the room.

Positives: -Great location, close to the best beaches of the Costa Brava. -Staff were helpful and generally friendly organising activities including horse riding for our child. Negatives: -We we’re not advised in advance that our dog was not allowed in any of the restaurants (including the breakfast room). Not even on the restaurant terrace. We paid €60 per night for the dog. This is incredibly disappointing and unlike most 5 star dog friendly hotels around Europe. The only place the dog is welcome across the whole hotel is on a separate terrace. Asking for breakfast on the terrace was incredibly difficult and they were less than pleased- the lady at the restaurant reception was rude about the request. During a rainy day, this creates problems. Best not be a dog “friendly” hotel if in fact it’s basically not. -The garden suite terrace requires weeding and a proper clean -leaves and paper left on the floor Disappointing that this was not done in advance of our arrival. -The garden suites are noisy. We were woken several times by late arrivals from dinner and cars on the driveway. -On certain days, the noise from the road is evident. -Room service dinner (ordered because of the dog situation), was bland. The pesto pasta could easily pass as store bought. Fries were cold. -Temperature in the gym is a sweltering 26c because of heating.

I had visited Mas de Torrent in 2017 and was delighted to return to this beautiful spot. My return was even more special than my first visit. We had a beautiful pool suite with lots of room and beautiful decorations. My only regret was that the pool was not heated. The restaurant served excellent food both at dinner and breakfast. The staff is warm, hospitable and extremely helpful. The location is excellent for visiting the many special sites in Northern Cataluña. Thank you for making my stay so wonderful.

Amazing spa boutique hotel in the heart of the Costa Brava - stylish and cozy - perfect combination of middle age architecture & modern design. For me it is ideal place to escape from busy daily routine - very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere (perfect music selection in the hotel’s lounge and bars), good spa, beautiful landscape around, possibility to take a bike and make a trip to the next adorable middle age village - just the right things for body&soul. Besides -delicious restaurant with great local cuisine & wine selection. Excellent service and very friendly and attentive staff. It was already my second stay hier and I am absolutely sure that came back soon.

Beautiful place in a stunning location. The staff and facilities were lovely and the food was great. Could not fault it. And whilst this was predominantly a business trip, I will be coming back with my partner next year. The views are amazing!

The hotel is stunning .. the surroundings, the locale.. the service too is excellent and everyone from the porters to the reception as well as the restaurant staff are very helpful. The property is definitely one of the higher relais chateaux ones and i would recommend it to anyone staying in Costa Brava

EVERYTHING WAS EXTREMELY QUALITATIVE EXCEPT FOR A WAITER AT BREAKFAST, WHO WASEN'T VERY KIND OTHERWISE THE OTHER STAFF WERE LOVELY AND HELPFUL VERY NICE QUALITY OF THE MEAL AS WELL ;....................................................

Incredible hidden gem! The restaurant was five star and our villa (#45) is somewhere we would consider spending a month to work remote. Felt like we truly were at a cozy home, so well appointed. Loved every inch of this property which kept revealing itself with more hidden locations and spaces through the stay. Staff was exceptional!!
