also this year we returned to torre san giovanni for the summer holidays, to find some peace in this wonderful place and once again i decided to spend the holiday with my friend Borka and her family because if you go back to a place this case at the Hotel Veliero, you feel at home and you are sure of feeling good and spending a holiday that will remain in your heart! I have been with the family in mid-July. I found everything to my liking. Excellent breakfast, close to the beach, very good room cleaning. All the staff very friendly and gentle especially with the kids. The owner is an exquisite person.

We stayed 9 nights at the beginning of July in this family-run hotel and we can only thank the sweetness of Mrs. Borka who had so much attention for us and for the child, trying to satisfy us with every request and who always showed so much sweetness in our morning chat. A special thanks also to Sgnor Luigi who showed great empathy towards us and letting us try their local products (excellent). The hotel has new renovated rooms and is facing the sea, so it is a strategic choice to enjoy the wonderful Salento sea! Thanks again and see you next year!

We stayed at this family-run hotel for a week. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome, attention and availability. Strategic position facing the sea and a stone's throw from the center. Newly refurbished modern and clean room. Breakfast for all tastes and plentiful. To recommend!

Two weeks of vacation, in my favorite place, Torre San Giovanni was for years the destination of my summer holidays as a child. Last summer I returned with my partner and we could not have chosen a better place than the Veliero hotel. Borka and Gigi are the owners of the family-run hotel and make sure that each of their customers is a guest at a friend's house. Unique in sympathy they will be able to recommend places to visit and restaurants to try. The rooms are well cared for, we stayed on the first floor, completely renovated. Abundant and delicious breakfasts will be able to satisfy every habit, sweet or savoury, with characteristic foods, pastry or artisanal. To be evaluated more than positively the 0 KM fruit that Gigi takes care of with so much affection. In addition to a wonderful welcome, you will find that the location of the accommodation is one of the fundamental things to choose on holiday; well, the hotel is located a few steps from the short entrance path to the beaches, both free and equipped. Convenient for families with children, so you don't always have to use the car. Crystal clear water, small fish swimming fearlessly near the shore and very fine white sand. A wonderful mirage. The center is a few hundred meters away, continuing to the right as soon as you exit the hall entrance. Going to the left instead, you will arrive in a couple of minutes at the seafront promenade, passing by the port, where you will find bars, restaurants and attractions, even for the little ones. Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato11 giorni al VELIERO, ci siamo trovati molto bene;il locale e'in una posizione strategica fronte mare e a due passi dal centro.Ambiente accogliente e pulito a conduzione familiare;la signora Borka ed il marito signor Gigi sono gentili e premurosiCONSIGLIATO !

Accoglienza e disponibilità ottima..Posizione strategica vicinissima alle spiagge Molto tranquillo durante la notte e a due passi dal centro ..Borja la proprietaria dell'hotel ti accoglie come in famiglia disponibile tutto il giorno per qualunque nostra necessità..

Borja e Gigi sono i titolari dall'hotel. Gigi ha iniziato l'attività alberghiera ormai tantissimi anni or sono, ed io e la mia famiglia abbiamo gustato l'eccelsa ospitalità di Gigi che in tantissimi anni ci ha veramente accolti come familiari/amici ospitandoci, organizzando feste sulla spiaggia o sul terrazzo, portandoci in giro con la bici, o accompagnandoci la mattina a fare jogging lungo la spiaggia, oppure organizzando partite di calcetto e fornendo l'equipaggiamento ossia magliette pantaloncini e partecipando lui stesso (ricordo che in una partita fece gol da porta a porta!). Insomma il Gigi se avete capito è una persona eccezionale! E peraltro di.una generosità ed umanità ed imprenditorialità notevoli. Una leggenda del posto. Adesso lo coadiuva la moglie Borja ed anzi gli sta subentrando: difficile eguagliarlo ma insieme fanno.un grande lavoro. Complimenti ed auguri Gigi e Borja!!

Un'esperienza fantastica. Soggiornare all'hotel Il Veliero è come ritrovarsi in una grande famiglia. La proprietaria è disponibile e cordiale, sempre attenta ai propri clienti... oltre che simpatica e gentile. L'hotel affaccia sul mare ed è comodo per spostarsi anche in centro. Consigliatissimo!
