We spent a wonderful week at Hotel El Cid Campeador. Let's start at the beginning, it's worth contacting the hotel and asking for an offer, not booking through accommodation intermediaries! Their reservation system is great, user-friendly, and they respond immediately to any questions or problems that arise. It is about half an hour from the airport, and we were able to request a transfer. The hotel is located in the wonderful part of Torre Pedrera, in a great area, where you can find everything you need for your vacation. The Talismano 72 beach belongs to the hotel, which is a 1-minute walk from the hotel (of course, if we don't stop at Henry's bar to drink a delicious Italian espresso). The rooms fully met their needs, a beautiful view of the sea, a comfortable bed, cool air conditioning for siesta time 😝 What I should write about at length is the half board!  Unfortunately, there are no words for the food!  Every single dish that the Chef dreamed up was divine.  A menu choice dinner is served, which means that a cold appetizer is waiting on the table, with a fresh salad, a steamed and fried vegetable dish, and you can choose a soup, a pasta, or a risotto from the hot appetizers the night before.  A main course is either a meat, or a fish dish, or a salad.  Desserts include a cheese plate, fruit, or ice cream.  Red and white wine, bottled and still water, orange or cola for children.  So you are provided with all earthly goodies, since five of us went, we had the opportunity to taste everything, and I can say that we have never eaten such healthy food in a hotel that was prepared so creatively and with such good taste. We drank prosecco after dinner on the hotel terrace, where the bustle of the pedestrian street is captivating.  And Ilária's cocktails and cold Baileys coffee are unmissable, a big hug from here too 🤗.  All the staff are smiling and kind, and Monica is the most helpful receptionist I have ever met. Special thanks to Fabrizio, who immediately took action and helped solve any questions or requests we had.  I hope we can return here with the whole family next year, but then we won't make it in 7 days 🤗😉
