Villa de Cillis Carafa

Everything...and I mean every part of our 3 day stay at the Villa was perfect! From the moment we arrived, Antonio and Pasquale's genuine warmth and hospitality were a special part of our stay. The Villa's grounds are tranquil and so pretty and our room with the great terrace was the place to enjoy a cup of cappuccino in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening after day trips to Pompeii and Naples. The location is great..a 10 minute walk to the railway which connects directly to the Metro so getting around was easy. Our room was immaculate and so beautiful. Each element.. the bed and linens, the elegant and comfortable furnishings, and the bathroom was so pretty and paid homage to the feel of the Villa....not to mention the soaking tub after a long day of sightseeing! The breakfast with it's fresh baked pastries and wonderful selection of fruit, meats and cheeses and other delights to many to mention was a delicious start to the day. I challenge anyone not to be seduced by the aroma of the pastries baking in the morning. In closing I would just like to say that a stay at the Villa De Cillis Carafa is a hidden gem and the affordable room rates are a true bargain. A beautiful place with lots of charm and very friendly people. We got many good tips. From the terrace where breakfast is served you have a beautiful view of Capri and the Vesuv on the other side. Naples and Pompeii are within easy reach. We will be back.

Hidden gem with absolutely wonderful service. At breakfast you can see Vesuvius in one direction and the Isle of Capri in the other. Antonio is a wonderful host and the rooms are very well decorated. The lemon trees and outdoor area is beautiful. We will be back.

A beautiful stay at this Villa, made my daughter’s first trip to Italy a special one. I would recommend you stay here if you want to explore Naples, Pompeii and the Amalfi coast with ease. Antonio and Pasquale make everything so easy and host perfectly. Breakfast on the terrace is stunning and the rooms are even better. A five star stay! We will be back!

A beautiful place! The host, his familiy and team gave us a very warm welcome. They were super helpful with advise about the sights around, restaurants and more. The garden is such an amazing place with spots of untouched nature und corners where you can sit and relax near good smelling lemon trees. The rooms are phenomenal with a touch of historical furniture. You can notice how much the host deals with all the details and is busy constantly improving everything.

I spent a long weekend in the villa with my wife and the experience was excellent! Upon arrival we received a warm welcome and were able to organize our activities and restaurants thanks to the advice of the staff. An ancient noble residence rich in history, it is managed by the family we met and who immediately made us feel at home. The room, very clean and spacious, overlooked a beautiful garden full of lemon trees. Wi-Fi was perfect. The terrace where we had breakfast is very suggestive, there you can enjoy a unique view: the sea on one side and Vesuvius on the other. The choice of food is excellent, traditional and locally sourced, suitable for all needs with a choice of sweet and savory. The villa is located in a strategic position, where you can easily reach Naples, Capri, Pompeii, Herculaneum, the Vesuvius national park and the Amalfi coast. We will definitely return to keep visiting the infinite beauties of this wonderful region.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the luxurious and beautiful Villa de Cillis Carafe. The rooms throughout the Villa are stunning with elegant tiles and antique furniture. We loved having breakfast on the terrace, with a view of the Tyrrhenian Sea on one side and Vesuvius on the other. A car is highly recommended since transit and getting taxis can be challenging to navigate in the area. Antonio and Pasquale helped us in many ways and recommended some outstanding restaurants in the area. The hosts really went out of their way to ensure we had the best possible stay. I would highly recommend staying at Villa de Cillis Carafe.
