Just back from a four night stay, 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment with self catering. It was a real home from home , very clean and comfortable. The hosts are super friendly, accommodating to your needs without being overpowering. We especially enjoyed the heated pool, little area to have a beer and the games room with pool table and dart board was used nightly. The hotel wasn’t too far from town or the beach and we got the bus back if tired. Highly recommend.

This is our second time at the purple tree guest house, great place. We took the whole family and had a lovely holiday. Very accommodating and the owners are great people and give a great service. Pool and games room an added bonus. Will defo return in the future.

Wonderful accommodation and friendly welcome from Ian and Debbie. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable and yummy breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. Would highly recommend. Anyone wanting a play to stay in Torquay should try this wonderful guest house

We stayed at The Purple Tree in August. 3 adults and 2 children. The rooms were great! Breakfast was tasty and the whole vibe of the place was just home from home with the bonus of a pool and jaccuzi. Great location within easy reach of everything you'd need. Would love to come visit again.

Ian and Debbie are great hosts and made us feel very welcome through out our stay. The room was perfect for our short stay and had everything we required. The breakfast was nice and cooked to suit and there was continental options aswel as full English. There was a pool and a hot tub but we didn’t use these as we didn’t really have time. There was a games room with pool table which we made use of along with the bar! Debbie and Ian were really lovely, friendly people and we enjoyed sitting and chatting with them on the evening, we look forward to another stay in the future!

Loved our stay owners are lovely people very nice and clean place very good breakfast (if ian can be quiet long enough to cook it... lol) Place is near everything that you Need to be away for a few days. Has its own pool loved our stay thanks from Nik and sarah

A lovely welcome when we arrived. We were told about local sights and eateries which was very helpful. The room was compact but spotless and inviting and adequate for the 2 of us. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Will definitely stay here again when we return in the future.
