Jo and Darren gave us the warmest of welcomes and were perfect hosts throughout. Nothing too much trouble. Stayed in lovely Torre Suite, lounge and bedroom. Shower lovely. Breakfast was amazing, see photo (im not an egg fan lol). Great location for walk into town. Can't rate this place highly enough!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mount Edgcombe. Jo & Darren are fab hosts, the rooms are spotless and super comfy, the food was amazing and the drinks were even better! Great location, a short walk from the seafront. Can’t wait for our next stay ☺️

We keep coming back to Mount Edgcombe. The spotlessly clean room 7, with huge comfy bed. Fresh milk in the fridge. A freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of choice, a great start to the day The free on site parking is a big plus, we leave the car and use the train and bus. A drink and chat in the bar, which has local beers, to end the day. Finally Joanne and Darren are brilliant hosts, friendly, helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. We will hopefully be back for another visit later in the year.

Had a 4 night stay at Mount Edgecombe. Great friendly hosts, very helpful and kind, nothing too much trouble. Clean comfortable rooms, fresh milk and great coffee maker / pods in room. Bar and communal lounge. Lovely breakfast that you order the night before which is freshly cooked,I believe that Darren and Jo offer evening meals.( not available when we stayed) Great location with free parking, easy walk into Torquay. Would thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful hosts, nothing too much trouble. Clean comfortable rooms and sumptuous meals. Parking is available on site. A licensed bar is also available for those who enjoy a tipple. Have already booked a reservation for next year, can’t wait.

Very friendly, very clean room, food very good lots of variety. Location on the flat nice walk to the Abbey, park and seaside . Darren and Jo very friendly hosts aways happy to help and very welcoming. The room was comfortable and a fridge was a added bonus!

We recently stayed at Mount Edgcombe Guest House for 4 nights. We would really recommend this place as it is one of our top 10 favourites now. Conveniently situated on a gentle hill not far from seafront and Train Station. Free parking on site. We stayed in room with king size bed, walk in shower and spa jet bath. Great night's sleep and very quiet. Jo and Darren are brilliant hosts so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is made to order each morning. Best fried bread I have had since a child. There is a lounge and a bar at guest house and we finished off one evening with hosts and another couple who were guests. We will be back to this wonderful accommodation.

An absolute gem! Just a few days away to recharge and we could have picked a more fabulous place to stay. Jo and Darren were amazing hosts, with every detail covered. Nothing was too much trouble. Amazing breakfast and a delicious home cooked evening meal ...kudos to Darren x Our room was spotless, super comfy bed, and much bigger than we anticipated, but it was great to have the additional space and a sofa to rest on after a day out. Looking forward to a return visit soon!!!
