Amazing stay, Gary & Philip are really amazing hosts, all the staff are lovely! Super friendly, ask about your day etc. just really lovely people. Room was very clean and decorated modernly throughout. Breakfast was 10/10 delicious ☺️ Will be back next year for sure! Can’t fault anything. Thanks so much!! A little home away from home 💕

Another fantastic stay at the Torcroft. Comfortable and clean room, great facilities, tasty breakfast and arguably the best hosts on the planet. Easy walk into town or down to the marina. As all the reviews on here say it’s just a great place to stay. See you next May half term !!

A sublime welcome from Gary and Philip means this was a stand-out stay. Lots of personal recommendations (especially Blackpool Sands) made a big difference to our short stay. Beautifully restored rooms and common areas really are the best. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if in the area. Five-star experience.

Comfortable, clean rooms, modern bathroom and lovely hosts. Nice honesty bar / seating area. Convenient location 5 minutes walk from the seafront. Breakfast experience was ok but not as good as the rest of the facilities. I wouldn’t hesitate to return when visiting Torquay again.

We stayed here for one night over May the bank holiday weekend after looking for somewhere to stay on Tripadvisor. After looking at the reviews, we decided to give The Torcroft a go and we cannot be happier with the decision we made. The location is perfect, being close to the seafront and restaurants, but also in a very quiet and peaceful area. The balance is perfect. The guest house/hotel itself was beautiful and full of charm and character, whilst delivering on all the modern requirements too. The interior decoration is stunning and the overall finish just oozes quality and high end finishes. This is also evident in the bedroom, with a very comfortable bed, with top quality pillows and bedding, All this is great, but the genuine welcoming and friendly way you are looked after by Gary and Philip took our stay to the next level. They are superb hosts and you can see that they want to make your stay one that is perfect in every way. The honesty bar is well stocked and simple to use and the lounge area is an ideal place to sit and relax.!we did not get chance to use the outside seating area, but that also looked amazing and peaceful. The breakfast was excellent, with multiple different choices of cold and hot dishes. Home made elements and top end ingredients. All very well cooked and served with a massive smile and super friendly service from Izzy, who is a real star. Overall we cannot rate The Torcroft highly enough and we will definitely be back to hopefully spend more time with Gary, Philip and Izzie. Thanks for a great stay

This is wonderful, bijou, boutique accommodation. Our room was clean and tastefully apportioned with a king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. It was very bright and extremely comfortable and our breakfast was excellent. Our hosts, Gary and Philip and their beautiful dogs, Pattie and Pookie were delightful. Thank you. Robert & Val

Such a welcome! The proprietors and their lovely dogs welcomed us with open arms (not literally!) and wagging tails! Our every want/need were attended to, our rooms were fab, Gary, Philip and their staff were friendly and professional. Breakfasts were scrummy and beautifully served. My cousin and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we’ll be back!

An exceptional stay. Gary & Philip are simply the best.The room was excellent, brilliant decor and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and an absolute treat. If you are looking for a boutique bed and breakfast in Torquay. The search is over- stay here- you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic hotel, amazing hosts and good location. Service was incredible.They were very helpful with places to visit and we loved every place they recommended.The rooms are spacious and the balcony was nice to have We enjoyed our stay and strongly recommend this place.
