The Belmont

Before we had left home, we was made welcome by Abi and knew our stay would be rewarding. Very clean throughout, with lovely home feel to the room especially as we was allowed to bring our Labrador with us. The Belmont was a simple 5min walk from the town centre and even more lovely walk to the harbour and Torre Abbey. So many eateries and attractions in a close radius made it easy to visit while staying. Thank you for your hospitality Abi and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

We had the best stay, it’s in the perfect location, walking distance to everything. Beautiful room with everything you need and more e.g. coffee, homemade biscuits, milk, hot chocolate and lots of personal touches. The owner was lovely, and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, so much choice of hot sandwiches, full English, continental. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome, we will be back x

This was a repeat visit having stayed here last year too, and I was welcomed back like a family member coming home for the holidays! It felt like a home from home. The location is great, its a 10-15 walk from the station, which if you don’t have too much luggage is lovely in nice weather, or just a few minutes in a taxi and it’s just a short walk from the seafront. My room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with high quality linen on the bed. The breakfast room at the front of the building is light and airy and has a great selection of juices and d cereals etc. Ground coffee and cafetières are provided for delicious coffee with breakfast and both mornings I opted for the full English. The owner Abi cooks breakfast and it’s highly recommended. The sausages are top quality and I love the attention to detail of the baked beans being served piping hot in a ramekin on the plate!

We stayed at The Belmont on a family holiday as my son was competing for Dorset at the local golf club, Abi was so accommodating and nothing was to much trouble, the breakfast was lovely and all freshly cooked, our family room was so spacious and equipped with everything we needed, lots of information available on the local area, would highly recommended, we would definitely stay if we was to visit the area again. Thank you Abi

We had a wonderful 4 night stay the room was very comfortable and welcoming. Breakfasts were great with plenty of choice, thank you Abi for the fried bread!! Thank you again Abi for sorting out a space for my husbands mobility scooter. We will definitely be back. Thank you again for such a warm welcome 🤗

We have just returned from 4 nights staying at the Belmont. Abi was so welcoming when we arrived, our room was so lovely clean and comfortable. Lovely biscuits to have with our first cup of tea, yummy.😊. Plenty of choice for breakfast which was delicious. We felt she went above and beyond helping with my husbands mobility scooter.
