Pre Xmas break at the lovely Elmdene The breakfast here are the best we have ever had ,the whole place is immaculate we keep coming back as we are so well looked after ,beds are so comfy and gorgeous linen , plenty free parking for all guests , can't wait to come back .

superb in every way. plenty of car parking. spotlessly clean good sized bedroom, bathroom and rest of the hotel. excellent breakfast with a good choice , Trev and Kim couldn't do enough to help. our stay was lovely and we would definitely go again if visiting south Devon.

The nicest Hotel and hosts I've ever known and can't wait to return to this beautiful place in torquay. Kim and Trevor were like best friends that you haven't seen for years and welcomed you with open arms and a fantastic honesty bar.Like I said make sure you visit.

Once again an amazing stay at The Elmdene hotel; Kim and Trev, the hosts are so lovely and think of everything to make your stay perfect. We parked for free in the hotel car park and never had a problem doing this. Myself and my partner are vegan and on our arrival we found 2 home made yummy scones as well as a jug of soya milk in the fridge. The hotel is in a nice quiet spot near Torre Abbey and the sea. It is beautifully decorated and so clean. The bed was comfy, the power shower great with lots of pressure and hot water and there's also a fridge with lots of complimentary water. There were glasses for water as well as wine glasses and a bottle opener. There was also a kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits, aswell as an ironing board, iron and hairdryer. Torquay is a great place with something for everyone, lots of nice bars and restaurants, a marina, prom and pretty gardens. It is also a great base from which to discover all the lovely nearby seaside towns, coves and walks. We would definately stay here again. Thanks Kim and Trev for looking after us so well.

Such a friendly welcome,totally UN Basil Fawlty. Lol Trevor was the perfect host. As we are travelling for 2 months from Australia, we had a bit of luggage, Trev helped us up the 4 flights of stairs with our luggage. Unfortunately no lift. The apartment was charming, absolutely immaculate, only fault being for us Aussies is we like our wine nice and cold, and the fridge didn't really do this. The breakfast which you have a choice of a full English breakfast and all the trimmings, cereal, toast, orange juice, fruit etc was amazing, we had the full English and it was beautiful. The hosts Kim and Trevor were lovely and couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect. Thank you both for a lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay at The Elmdene the hosts were fantastic. The accommodation was prestine and the room was very comfortable and well equipped. The hotel is very well located and the seafront is only a short walk away. We would highly recommend and we will be returning.

We booked at Elmdene because it was close to a family wedding. We will be back because it was so lovely. The location is quiet and in easy walking distance of the sea front. Kim and Trev are very welcoming and everything was top quality. Looking forward to next time!

We stayed here again in May, after staying before for a long weekend a few years ago. Kim & Trevor are super hosts who go the extra mile to look after you and make you feel at home. Giving you all the local information you need and restaurant recommendations. The rooms are first class and spotless! With lots of little touches like biscuits, chocolates etc. The breakfast is amazing with lovely fresh food cooked to order with various choices and good quality ingredients. You can even have a fresh fruit bowl put together by Kim for a starter which is a lovely touch. The hotel is only a 10/15 minute walk to the harbour so it’s perfectly located too. Oh and the honesty bar is lovely, you just help yourself and write it down. We will be back for a third time.

Kim and Trevor were great hosts and went over and above to make our two night stay in Torquay memorable. The room was very nice and comfortable and the attention to detail made it perfect for our stay. Breakfast with Kim cooking and Trevor serving was superb. We rate Elmdene one of the best places we have ever stayed at. We will certainly be back.
