Had a lovely time stopping here with family. We went half-board so we enjoyed breakfast and our evening meal. Rooms were decent with comfy beds. Staff went out of their way to provide a family-friendly service. Entertainment was decent too. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Devonshire Hotel. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and extremely accommodating. This isn’t a modern hotel, but has lots of charm and character. We had a family room, which was very spacious and clean. The hotel is well situated, 10 minute walk to Torquay harbour where you can find plenty of restaurants and shops. The hotel offers a nice range of amenities, including an outdoor pool and games room which was a hit with our boys. Overall it is good value for money.

Had a 4 night stay with Daishs and could not fault this place. Spacious single room,, willing staff, excellent breakfasts and superb heated pool. Local buses very frequent and easy 15 minutes walk downhill to Harbour. All of Daishs hotels understand the needs of elderly guests and act accordingly. My 5 th Daish visit this year and will continue to use them as standards are always high . Hats Off to all of Daishs staff!;

I have some mobility issues, but reading on line that they had a lift, thought fine, ok for me. But the lift only goes to 1 floor and to get to our room it was a case of steps and crazy corridors, so not very mobility friendly at all. Food was not wonderful, and cold most of the time, and our waiter was not very friendly, spent most of his time talking with some regulars on the table next to us. Room was clean, but don't know why we had a wash basin in the bedroom? If you are a smoker, their is no covered area, so the so called beer garden, has no umbrella's, or coverings from the sun or rain. The transport in to and back to town was excellent, busses every hour. on the whole, guess value for money, but quirky hotel and wont be back

I have been on several Daish's holidays and this one rates as one of the best. I had a nice quiet room in the annex. which suited me perfectly. The food was well above average, with a good choice and ample quantity. The staff were the best, friendly, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. There was a regular bus service into town, so the location of the hotel, which was on a high spot with some steep hills, was not a problem. Did not visit the bar/entertainment, so cannot comment, but according to other guests, both were very good. All in all I had a great stay. Thank you.

excellent stay ... staff amazing , room good , ent good overall 10/10.... cant do enough for you and always with a smile ...helpfull and bus stop right outside hotel ..food good and a decent choice including a DISH OF THE DAY . eg beef stew ,chicken curry , all home made and well presented .

We’ve just returned from our 3rd stay in 2 years at this hotel and it’s still excellent all around, clearly down to the management team of Steve and Nelson. We had a problem with the mirrored wardrobe door that came adrift from the runners. We put it on the floor and I mentioned it in passing to Nelson that night around 9 pm in the bar, who immediately took a screwdriver and refitted it back in the robe. He came back to me at 9:30 to confirm that it had been rectified. All the staff are friendly and helpful, especially Jenny at the bar, and this is clearly down to the management team who lead by example. The bedroom was massive, but more importantly it was spotlessly clean, with very enjoyable food at meal times. Add to this the heated out door pool this must be the best Daish Hotel in the group, and we will be back there again soon.
