Rooms at Babbacombe

We stayed here for two nights whilst walking the SW coast path. You check in using a key safe with the code send by text message in advance. Our bags had arrived and were in our room which was nice. Our room was small - with two people and two bags, there’s not much space to spare. The bathroom was small too and the water pressure in the shower very low. Everything was very clean and there was a small fridge in the room with fresh milk. Downstairs is open plan - where breakfast is served and there is also crockery and cuttlery if you have a take away. Breakfast (order by text or email by 6.30pm the day before) was the best thing about staying here; there was a good choice and it was all attractively presented. I had the continental selection one morning and it would have served all of us. The bus stops virtually outside and there is a good selection of eating options on the sea road round the corner. Luke, the owner, was around and very helpful.

We have had a fabulous 3 night break. Rooms at Babbacombe is absolutely immaculate, bedding -towels-tea coffee mini fridge in room to store the milk they supply. On the landing there are towels -toilet rolls -toiletries (if you have forgotten any )and all stored in very clean and hygienic containers/ baskets they have also got a jar of biscuits that you can help yourself to. We chose the English breakfast absolutely delicious the way it was presented and the service was excellent. The eating area is so vey clean and I love the design that they have created. Becca and Luke are so welcoming nothing is too much trouble. My husband and I will definitely book to stay there again. Thanks again 😊

Only one night stay but definitely one to remember. Room was spotless clean and ready on time, very comfy bed and bedding. Nice décor in the rooms but also in the lounge area. Checking in was stress free and I loved the fact it was self check in, no human interaction what is exactly what I like :) Explanation and very detailed video was send on the day of the arrival so there was no problem to get in. Loved the fact there was so many little touches to make our stay more comfortable. Little fridge in the room to keep our drinks cool, complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits. If you've run out, you could top it up in the lounge area, plenty of everything. Fans very available to collect to cool the room, extra towels and toilet paper and even cute hamper in the corridor full of shower gels, toothpaste, toothbrush, tampons, you could have help yourself in case if you have come unprepared. Very thoughtful!! There was cutlery, wine glasses, vine openers etc available in lounge area you could take it to your room if you needed. Unbelievably helpful, every detail thought of. Also car park available just in front of the hotel . Great location, with walking distance to the pubs and restaurants, beach and all the shops. Also bus stop just few steps away. Free wi-fi as well, Absolutely amazing owners. would definitely come back if in the area. Thank you

Very clean and stylish self serve accommodation. Pick up key via PIN code etc. Room was smallish and the twin beds just fit in the space against either wall. Small en-suite. Beds were not great as mattress a bit thin and didn’t sleep well. Room was very warm as only top windows opened. Fan helped but very stuffy. That said tiny fridge nice touch.

We stayed here for 1 night whilst walking the south west coast path and it was just what we needed for a good price! We were sent videos of how to check in so we could arrive whenever and the bed was super comfy! Would highly recommend to walkers on the path!

On arrival we were met by Luke our host. We were about to do self check in, but he very kindly did it for us and then showed us to our room. Explaining that we were more than welcome to use the downstairs lounge to sit and relax, also if we wanted a takeaway there were plates and cutlery supplied, there was also complimentary tea and coffee. On the landing by our room there was a fridge with extra milk, tea/coffee and biscuits if we needed it (there was tea & coffee supplied in our room). Extra towels, shower gel etc. was also available if needed, I thought this was a great idea. The room was lovely, exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was really comfortable, we both had a great nights sleep!! Luke and Bec’s are great hosts, they responded really quickly to any questions we had. A video was forwarded to us regarding how to do self check in…..brilliant idea. They are very friendly, but also professional. I would definitely stay at ‘Rooms At Babbacombe’ again, and would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you for a great stay.
