RivetStays - the Atmos

The A/C was not working, so we slept our first night in 26.5 degrees Celsius. Also, the room was not clean. We found half a cracker and a piece of popcorn in the sofa bed, and a nut on the counter. The sofa bed mattress was very yellowed, and there was a hole in the wall where a door handle must have hit it. The patio door was extremely sticky, and I was not able to open it. We checked out after one night and moved to the Delta Hotel (I highly recommend that one) for the rest of our stay in Toronto.

The place is cozy although the poor curtain situation makes it hard to sleep in the morning (too much light coming in!). At arrival, the security staff downstairs was overwhelmed by the many people checking in and every client seemed to have a problem with their room. I showed up on time as prescribed in the communication email but had to wait 30 min for the room to be released (the cleaning wasn't done, I was told). But overall, I was pleased by the location

Great location A bit of a challenge to unload your vehicle if you don’t have parking associated with your unit

The place was in good location, right near CN Tower. There are few reasons why I gave it only two stars: 1. The place smelled TERRIBLE. We went in and was only welcomed with a musky smell that you would only smell in a place where it had been smoked in for awhile. As non-smokers, this smell hurt our throats and was very unpleasant with overall experience because of it. 2. Parking - prior to booking, we were promised a parking spot. Yes - there was a parking spot. However, we were never communicated that the garage remote was missing and we had to contact concierge everytime we had to go in and out. This became so annoying and made us not really want to go out because of it and no prior communication was done to let us know which even made our check in process much longer than it should have. They did call to say they were sorry and would give free parking instead of the $30 daily charge, which I have yet to receive though. That’s why our 1 star became 2 stars - hopefully the refund comes through. I personally wouldn’t recommend place to anyone.

Loved how close everything is at this property. Rogers centre, hockey hall of fame, cn tower, Are all walking distance. The condo itself was very spacious and clean. Its a quiet building as well.

The unit was excellent!! Extremely well stocked and clean. The location was absolutely perfect. There was no parking on site which worried us a bit before hand- especially that we drive a big vehicle, but we found an underground parking just next door. As mentioned in other reviews, the elevators were an issue , but that was the only negative part of our stay and hopefully it will be fixed/addressed. Great stay! We will be booking again.

A apartment/condo in downtown Toronto close to many major attractions (CN Tower etc) The gentleman helping us on site didn’t speak English or French which made things very challenging, considering that English is the primary language spoken in Toronto Ontario, Canada. Parking was very confusing and very little instruction was given. As well as no instruction was given on how to use elevators, etc., with the fob provided. Air conditioning in the unit did not work. The windows that did open in the unit were at floor level, which seemed odd and dangerous for an apartment 21 floors up. The bedrooms were missing dressers of any kind to store your clothes. The condo is spacious. And somewhat modern. It does provide a nice view of the city. All in all for the amount of money, I wouldn’t stay here again. We enjoyed our time in Toronto However the stress of Not being properly informed about many of the condos Intricacies, parking, elevators, security, etc. left a lot to be desired.
