The stay in Canopy was good overall - The hotel was quiet and clean. The wifi was good. Also, close to a metro station of Sherbourne. The staff at this hotel were very friendly and prompt to address the requirement I need.
Our room type was "two queen beds room", it's adequate in size with a clean and bright, minimalist swedish design that i found quite appealing. i must admit i was a little disappointed by the lack of any view - just the windows of the neighboring apartment building. My favorite amenities were the drawer refrigerator, which was big enough for putting the stuffs what we bought but of course there are your standard amenities too - espresso maker, electric tea kettle. I should also mention that there's a glass bottle available for water that you need to fetch out in the lobby of the floor, where the water dispenser is. It's no inconvenience at all but it's environmentally friendly.

Everything was alright for my second stay, but the check-in service was disappointing for a Hilton brand. Around 3–4pm, only one counter was available and guests had to wait. A manager was walking around apologising, but I noticed she offered water and explanations to others (like pilots and another guest) while I was only told to wait. Later, when my check-in was done, she simply brought me my luggage without explaining hotel facilities, unlike how she treated the other guest. This made me feel slightly disrespected, and as an Asian guest I couldn’t help but wonder if it was discrimination. Apart from this, the hotel itself was fine, but service standards need improvement.

if you are going visit the UT downtown campus, it is one of the best choice.
perhaps a bit expensive, but its location shows the value.

Everything was great. The only issue is that the fire alarm went off at 2am waking us up in the middle of the night, having to wait until it was cleared. We understand it was not the hotel’s fault, but it was inconvenient at the time.
