The staff at the Pontypool Hotel were all brilliant & couldn’t do enough to help us, however our room (103) was very tired & needs some attention, which we felt you needed making aware of - the heating was not working & the room was quite chilly. We reported this to reception & they supplied us with a portable heater which helped. Also, one of the coat hooks behind the door was broken & unusable. We have stayed at Pontypool before, & found it very good, however we feel it needs some attention to bring it up to standard.

We had a lovely stay here. Josh and Tracey was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast made by Josh who went above and beyond, we loved the convenient location. Thanks for a great stay.

The chef was a polite chap named Josh. He made breakfast to order every day and was extremely accommodating. A real credit to the business who made the meal feel special and set me up for the rest of the day. The other staff were all pleasant and made me feel welcome. Overall a great experience.

High Premier inn standards in evidence again in Pontypool. Lovely breakfast and friendly, efficient service from Pippa on reception. Comfortable spotless room, good shower pressure. Lovely vanilla products. Stayed an extra night - will definitely return.

Lovely stay at this Premier Inn, bed was comfy and my room was very quiet and dark. The cooked breakfast was one of the nicest I’ve had on a work trip. Great coffee too. The staff are super kind and welcoming. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook if I’m ever back in the area.

Breakfast was the highlight of the stay, Josh and lyn made the mornings! Rooms were clean and comfy Shame it didn’t have an attached restaurant but the near by harvester was a good backup plan Room cleans on request was good Ample car parking.

The breakfast was the highlight of my stay. Josh very friendly. Always a warm greeting in the morning. Even though Josh was responsible for cooking the breakfasts in the kitchen, he made a point of coming out and saying hello. The breakfast was always hot and fresh and came out quickly.
