Wonderful stay at Ripa Relais, which we would consider an upscale agriturismo. We spent 5 nights at Ripa Relais during the sizzling July weather across Italy and yet it was noticeably cooler here than the other cities we visited. Great views from the Ripa Relais swimming pool across the Chiasco river valley to Assisi. We were on half-board so had (delicious!) dinners ready every evening after returning from our day trips. The National 318 road is right down the hill from Ripa Relais so when the wind turns you can hear some of the traffic but that did not bother us and the road is convenient to rapidly reach other cities. From Ripa Relais, we were able to make day trips even as far as Orvieto, with closer cities being Spoleto, Montefalco, Assisi and of course Perugia which is 20 minutes away by car. Family-owned. Big thank-you to all the staff as the place was quite full and the summer season in full swing but they were all in cheerful and helpful disposition.

Courteous and professional staff, excellent dinner, enjoyed an excellent massage at the spa, but several notes to make. The place is very close to a noisy highway and to Perugia airport, with some planes (luckily few flights) landing over the structure. The junior suite booked was small, and the air conditioning did not work, on a very hot day. Having pointed out the inconvenience late in the evening, we were offered an upgrade replacement only the following morning and following our desire to leave the facility. Sin.

Dire incantevole e’ poco: abbiamo passato le feste di Pasqua in questa splendida dimora nelle colline umbre, comodo a Perugia Assisi e Spello( raggiunte in bicicletta tranquillamente). Curato e pulito sia l’esterno che le stanze, personale gentilissimo. Hanno un ristorante , Arna, dove abbiamo cenato diverse volte . Piatti belli esteticamente e ricercati nei sapori. Colazione con dolci fatti in casa e i salati tipici umbri.

Vacanze in Umbria, prima volta che alloggiamo in questo hotel, struttura centrale si raggiunge in pochi minuti l’aeroporto, Perugia e l’autostrada: parcheggio gratuito cosa non sempre presente in altri hotel dove si trova a pagamento; immerso nel verde con panorama mozzafiato, la mattina si viene svegliati dal canto degli uccellini. La nostra camera grande confortevole, bagno con tutti prodotti della toilette, tanti piani di appoggio perfetti per mettere tablet, telefoni, borse e pacchetti regalo, ottimo il riscaldamento. Colazione a buffet varia con prodotti sia dolci che salati: uova sode, omelette, prosciutto crudo e cotto, salame, ricotta, pecorino, torte e crostate fatte in casa, biscotti, marmellate e crema al cioccolato fatte in casa, da provare quella all’uva fragola, varietà di cereali e frutta, cornetti pane e tante bevande come latte di solita, succhi di arance mela verde, ace,ananas. La struttura mette a disposizione la piscina immersa nel verde, una SPA, ed un ottimo ristorante con piatti della tradizione e degustazioni non scontate: per cui pasta al tartufo, ma anche piccione, sfera al cioccolato e buona scelta di vini.

Bellissimo agriturismo, abbiamo alloggiato nella stanza Superior (Violetta) con balcone, tutto ottimo sia la stanza che la pulizia. Abbiamo usufruito della Spa privata e della colazione in camera, non siamo riusciti invece a provare il ristorante. Tutto ottimo, soprattutto la colazione! Sicuramente il fattore che contraddistingue questo agriturismo è il personale, veramente gentile, disponibile e reattivo!! Posizione ottima per girare i borghi più belli dell'Umbria con la macchina. Veramente un peccato la strada statale nei pressi che fa sì che sia sempre presente il rumore del fruscio delle auto, di notte non è un problema dormendo con le finestre chiuse; d'estate è comunque presente il climatizzatore nelle stanze.

Posto incantevole ma con tante lacune , pulizia della camera molto superficiale, pulizia del bagno molto scarsa basta guardare le fughe del pavimento , tappeti poco igienici perché si sa raccolgono tanta polvere e germi … letti molto scomodi addirittura i singoli sono brandine e non letti con materassi davvero di scarsa qualità , i nostri complimenti vanno allo chef e alla signorina in sale per la cena,che si sono rilevati gli unici cordiali e professionali oltre i piatti serviti davvero eccezionali ,invece la colazione si è rilevata una delusione, per due giorni consecutivi non è stato possibile avere una premuta d arancia per mancanza di queste ultime …
