Quality Inn I-70 at Wanamaker
3.4/576 Reviews
Hotel is a little overpriced for the quality, breakfast could also be better. The internet was a little slow at times as well, Lakin the front desk girl was super friendly which made up for the quality of the hotel and the overpriced room. Other than that, my stay was great!
Cyrus Hotel, Topeka, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The best hotel in Topeka. Of course, that bar is not so high. Comfortable hotel, great beds. Downtown with a few places for a bite or a drink nearby - though downtown Topeka is slowly coming back - don't expect Las Vegas. Staff at hotel very helpful and friendly. We had two rooms for three nights. Only having the rooms cleaned on third day was of no use to us and we had to ask for fresh towels each day. They were delivered with a smile, but considering the rates for a place in Topeka, I think it could be a bit higher level of service. Weather Room restaurant has good reviews. Did not dine there. The breakfast as so-so and even though there was still time in the breakfast service period, staff clearly wanted us out (and other patrons) so they could prep for lunch. With 30 min left and a small buffet, it is not good to hear ”time will be tight” from the person seating us. Overall, a good place and will stay here again. For breakfast go south to Hanover Pancake House or north to the Coffee Bean.
Courtyard Topeka

This is a really good courtyard. The front desk was courteous and friendly. Check in was a breeze. They accommodated my request for a first floor room. The room was clean and well maintained. The lighting was excellent in the room and bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were varied. Ice on the floor and coffee in the room was a plus. They only clean room upon request (we were there 4 days) unless requested, but supply extra amenities as well as clean towels upon request. There is no operational cafe due to Covid…but plenty of restaurants around nearby.
Hyatt Place Topeka

Very nice employees. Room was large with separate sitting area. Beds were comfortable and premises clean. Only thing that wasn’t my fave was small bathroom with sink outside room. Breakfast was very good. Someone voiced concern that parking lot was dark and unsafe. It was extremely well lit and I felt as safe there as anywhere else. Shower had dispensers filled with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. I’d stay here again.
Baymont by Wyndham Topeka
3.4/5100 Reviews
The staff was welcoming and helpful, the room was spotless and well-equipped, and the bed was super comfortable. Despite being near a busy area, it was surprisingly quiet. The complimentary breakfast was great, and the parking was convenient. Excellent value and a memorable experience. Highly recommended!
Endeavor Inn & Suites, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

I stayed at the Endeavor Inn on my drive from Denver to Indianapolis and then again on the way home. It was a good choice of where to stay in Topeka. The rooms were similar. Double Queen Bed rooms, a microwave and mini fridge. A spacious and comfortable room. The first stay found the A/C struggling to keep the room comfortable. When I made the return reservation I mentioned this. The staff probably set the A/C to high before my second arrival. The room was nice and chilly. This made the return trip stay very nice. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. It could use some attention to worn areas inside, but nothing major. There is a nice patio area with the pool. I didn’t get a chance to check it out but it looked very comfortable outside my window. The staff was courteous and professional. Breakfast was served each morning. There are restaurants and service stations in the vicinity. The initial booking through an online service was about $20 cheaper than booking direct but even at the higher rate, it was affordable. With the cooler room on my return, I was very happy with the Endeavor Inn and highly recommend it.
