Toowoon Bay Holiday Park

When I booked with reception they said they had no concrete slab only nice grassy blocks. Upon arriving on our block we had hardly any grassy and mainly dirt. The block had a mat down that had big holes in it and we were 12 metres from the skip bins that hadn't been emptied in over a week. The smell was like rotton seafood and wafted inside our van and onto the washing I put out. Upon calling reception I was told by Reece's we know it smells but the Cleanaway truck has broken down,it's not our fault. Firstly why would they put anyone on that block? And secondly cleanaway has a fleet of trucks! While waiting for my husband to use the men's, the cleaning gentleman came along to do the ladies block and had finished in seven minutes, no wonder they smell. The toilets near us were old. And run down. The park has mainly permanents and a lot of the cabins are run down and shabby. The pool looked green! There were signs up advertising a pancake man but no date ever as to when and they were also advertising Australia day. .in march All in all a bad experience but the beach below is beautiful and if you score a seaside block views are great. Disappointed at the two calls to the office,and the staffs response finally was we can move you ,with one day to go. Who wants to then pull their annexe down and move. Won't be back, blue lagoon park much better- .

Huge holiday park located at Toowoon Bay. All the amenities you would look for in a holiday park and more. The amenities were immaculately clean and accessed with security codes. The pool and playground areas were well appointed and safety requirements fully met.

For what we paid, I expected more, such as basic requirements. Staff were rude. The place was infested with ants and bugs, hardly any towels and cutlery inside the cabin. No wifi or phone reception. Will not be coming back here again. Some parts of the park looked like I was in a 3rd world country.

The Beachcomber Ocean view No. 39 appeared to be recently renovated - it was beautiful & spotlessly clean Very comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms and a spa - it was right on the ocean front but not sure all the other Beachcomber ocean views would have had such a good view - very impressed and nice friendly staff - will definitely come again in the future

It was such a great little cabin, spa included. Such a great big park great pools not that we used them. Great walks to the beach with great access. The office at the front has lots of bits and pieces Comfortable bed It was lovely sitting on the verandah listening to the waves

Worst sleep ever! The bed in the cabin was so old you both roll into the middle, it is also positioned directly under the window and the blinds are not close enough to the window meaning there is a funnel of sunlight directed onto your face from sunrise. So overpriced for a cabin in a van park - you could stay in a 4 star hotel for the same $$ they don't even provide beach towels.
