The Cellars at Heathcote II is a must stay. The villa is roomy, cosy and well appointed. Beautiful vista from the villa windows. Lionel & Peder are lovely hosts. The wines and other produce are beautiful. You can also get your animal fix with two gorgeous labs. Already planning our trip back.

I could tell from the photographs that I would love the Cellars. Beautifully appointed, with electric curtains, heated bathroom floor, plentiful breakfast ingredients, quality linen and an extremely comfortable bed, as well as a view to die for. The property is peaceful, and we loved the absence of a TV - we listened to music, read, talked and planned. A meal at the nearby Toolleen Hotel is recommended! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

What a surprise the Cellars is. We celebrated our 44th anniversary and chose to go somewhere quiet but still close to wineries and fooderies (Chauncy). Highly recommend the Cellars with their attention to detail and the Cellar in the middle of the room was excellent. Views to die for and best of all, NO TV.

This is a lovely retreat. Let Peder guide you through the boutique wines before checking in to your well built and stylish Villa. These are beautifully built and tastefully appointed. We relaxed on the balcony and looked over the vines with a glass of wine. Magnificent!

Thank you for a wonderful weekend. Such a beautiful location, very peaceful, with a lovely view from the Villa. Everything was just right, comfortable large bed, superb bathroom with fluffy towels and excellent heated flooring. The Villa itself was immaculately clean and the deck with a great BBQ was open but still very private from the other Villas on each side. There is only 4 Villas on the property. The breakfast provisions were generous and delicious and plenty of utensils for cooking. The cellar in the room was extremely tempting with an excellent range of wines. Overall, certainly a 5 star experience and would be happy to book again.

We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend away, the accommodation was excellent, the setting was amazing and the hosts were incredibly hospitable and friendly. We also thoroughly enjoyed the fresh produce provided for breakfast. The Cellar Door was a great experience as well as the fine range of wines. Ann & Brian

The welcome was warm and the environment was perfect. On the way into the vineyard we met Lionel who directed us through the olive grove to our accommodation. The villa design is stunning with everything for which we could have wished. The bed was better than home and the pillows were fabulous, which is well above average. We brought wine home and we found that the wine from H2 was excellent. Thank you, Lionel and Peder, for a great weekend.

My husband & I stayed at the Cellars for the weekend and absolutely loved our stay. The villas are perfectly equipped with everything you could need/want and are luxurious in all of the fittings & details. The complimentary breakfast was lovely. We couldn't fault a thing about our stay & will hopefully be back again for another visit :) Thanks Lionel & Peder!

We had a lovely weekend away at The Cellars at Heathcote II and could not recommend this stay more highly. Lionel & Peder provided ample information prior to arrival about the check in process and facilities available at the property. On arrival, the property was easy to locate from the instructions provided (we had number 1) and there was a parking spot right outside the door of our stand alone room. From the minute we walked in we were blown away by the view over the olive grove and vineyards of the Heathcote region. The room had everything you needed, an extremely comfortable king sized bed, beautiful bathroom complete with shower and bath, private balcony including a BBQ, and kitchen with induction cooktop, microwave, kettle and delicious breakfast provisions. Of course the main attraction was the in-built cellar taking pride of position in the room, and although we didn't partake in any of the wines, there was a lovely selection of local and international wines. Additionally there was a small selection of spirits for purchase in the room including one of my person favourites from the local Animus gin distillery. While staying at the Cellars, a visit to the Heathcote II winery is a must and we were lucky to have a one-on-one tasting with Peder, the winemaker and one of the owners. Overall this is a wonderful property for anyone wanting a romantic getaway while visiting the Heathcote region. We could not fault anything about our stay.
