I intended to give a five-star rating; however, due to inconsistent information regarding the pet policy, I was unable to do so. The hotel's website clearly states a $20 pet accommodation fee, not a $20 fee per pet. Upon arrival, I was informed that the website had not been updated, and the fee was indeed charged per pet. I attached a photo from their website to this review. The primary reason I selected this hotel over other local options was based on the understanding that the fee applied per accommodation, not per pet. Additionally, guests are required to sign a form acknowledging the policy. This discrepancy felt misleading, especially given that all other hotels were fully booked, leaving me with limited alternatives. That said, the hotel itself was clean, well-appointed, and centrally located. The breakfast was sufficient, and the staff was very friendly. Were it not for the conflicting pet policy information, I would have gladly awarded a full five-star rating.

Booked directly through BW for a three queen room. Was given a room with two beds instead. When we spoke to the front desk, she said the manager had told her they overbooked and to give us the smaller room and charge $35 for a rollaway. The woman said that didn’t seem right so she’d give us that for free. When I asked for clarification that they are charging us full rate for a room we didn’t book because it doesn’t have the right amount of beds, she said yes and that the manager told her that we (the guests) can figure it out on our own. The woman stated she could do a 10% discount because it didn’t seem right but I’d have to verify it in the morning. The man in the morning (manager’s son) said that there was nothing he could do, no discount, no apology. He claimed our rate was $20 more than it was supposed to be therefore we already received a discount. When I asked him to clarify that a two bed room is the same price as a three bed, he said, well normally it’s $30 less but then went back to claiming the higher rate despite what my reservation listed for the larger room. He then went on to blame us for booking on third party site and finally after looking up our reservation admitted that we booked directly from BW. I’ve never experienced such gaslighting and unwillingness to make things right for the customer. The breakfast staff and everyone else was nice but the manager and her son failed at their jobs and their attitudes of blaming the customer were ridiculous.

This was a wonderul place to stay, especially in this area. Everything was clean and comfortable. The shower water pressure was amazing which is something I usually always have issues with at hotels. The staff were friendly and breakfast was very well taken care. Plenty of options were available. I will stay again when traveling in the area.

This hotel is located right in the town of Tonopah on the highway. The rooms are clean and quiet. Staff is friendly and the breakfast is good. Coffee and cookies are available in the lobby upon arrival which is a nice touch. We have stayed here before and have been pleased each time. Be sure to take some time to walk around the town and see some of the historical buildings and learn the history. Several of the businesses have been purchased by a new corporate owner who is investing in maintaining the buildings, their history and improving tourist options. Tonopah is a cool little town with lots of history.

Don’t stay here. They use noxious chemicals on the carpet to clean pet smells as it is a “pet friendly” hotel. They don’t differentiate between guest rooms for pet owners and T hose without. Thus, if you have asthma and get a mean allergic reaction that lasts for two weeks, it’s just too bad for you. If you’ve got a stay at this place at the beginning of your trip- you’re out of luck, aren’t you? DONT STAY HERE!

This hotel was what we would expect from a Best Western Hotel clean nice rooms and a free breakfast. The price like most hotels nowadays keep rising and had it been a little lower it would have got a higher rating. It is a nice place to stay though

Clean rooms, awesome staff, slept great ... we were late arriving due to car trouble, so didn't get to go swimming ... I loved the strong water flow from shower head ... would definitely stay again .. lots of variety for breakfast .. I fell on love with the waffle maker .. it made 4 miniature waffles at as time.. food was fresh and kept replenished by staff

Our room was very clean and spacious - we had the two room suite. The hot breakfast was great with several options and very friendly staff. Tonopah brewery across the street was a good dinner choice. We also made a quick trip up the street to the Tonopah Historic Mining Park
