We went there at short notice on our way to Brittany, without reservation and got the last available room. This is a charming old building in the old town with a very nice garden. Our room was simple but clean and comfortable; all we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful ; a pure pleasure, thank you! The aperitif in the garden was devine - a perfect spot to unwind and relax. The dinner menu is limited but we loved our lobster & chicken dish. I can also recommend the gazpacho as a starter. Seriously good French food without the Michelin Star attitude. We were recommended a Chardonnay for EUR 46; reasonably priced and very good. I recommend both the hotel and the restaurant; you will not be disappointed!

Excellent shower and good quality large towels but we thought the room was fairly basic. Good selection at breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a small car park at the rear of the hotel which is quite difficult to get in and out of - unless you check out after everyone else has left as we did! We bought 12 bottles of wine direct from the hotel at very good prices and with hindsight wish we had bought more! Lovely dining room but very disappointing dinner, in fact the least enjoyable on our 11 night holiday. There are hundreds of choices on the wine list but only 4 choices per course on the menu, none of which particularly appealed to us. The menu was exactly the same for our second night so we definitely had to find an alternative! Surprising for such a short menu that they don’t do daily specials, at least for the benefit of the locals if not for the tourists!

The room was nice. However the food was very disappointing, they market themselves as a fine dining restaurant on their website. According to their management, they are now a bistro. Starters were OK, mains were inedible - hummus with broccoli sweet potato and quinoa bake, was simply chick pea purée with broccoli in a thin sauce. Fish pocheuse was similarly fish in a thin flavourless sauce. The crème brûlée was split. We did complain to the waiter, who just shrugged, on check out, management were utterly disinterested.

We were here two nights, and really enjoyed our stay. The location is good, fairly central in the town. Our bedroom (room 1) appeared recently redecorated and refitted (or it’s very well maintained), and was spacious and comfortable; it was hot while we were there, so it was great to have efficient and quiet air conditioning. The bathroom was particularly good with plenty of shelf space and a large walk-in shower. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice on the buffet. We also had dinner in the hotel on the two evenings, and we thought the food was good. Service was efficient and helpful.

We booked this hotel as it was around half way from St Malo to where we were heading in Switzerland. The hotel has parking and the room was basic with excellent A/C, comfortable bed and bathroom with walk in and great shower. Range of toiletries and single ply recycled paper loo roll. The soundproofing in the hotel room was not great; you could hear noises and sounds in parts of the hotel around the room. The hotel dining room is quite dated. Staff were very pleasant, attentive and friendly and helped us select Chablis wine to buy. A real advantage of the hotel was its proximity to the heart of this very pretty and quaint town. We arrived late on a Saturday afternoon and had a short wander into the town, stopping at a small restaurant located at a bridge in town for some Chablis tasting and charcuterie du cochon. We then headed back to the hotel to enjoy a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant; a starter of whipped goats cheese on watermelon being a highlight, and some Chablis Grand Cru! We were pleased we booked the hotel restaurant as it did not appear that there were many other restaurant options in the small town. Early on the Sunday morning I did a part walk part run through the seven grand cru vineyards before a plentiful buffet breakfast sitting in the pretty courtyard of the hotel. Before we left Chablis we visited the very extensive market which had been set up on the main street where we bought some fresh fruit and cheese. Chablis is a very beautiful part of France and well worth a stop over and I would recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel with a gorgeous courtyard restaurant, very welcoming. 15 minute walk to the village centre Very friendly staff who spoke good English, and secure off street parking. Our only disappointment was that the restaurant menu did not cater for vegetarians

We stayed here 4 nights and slept very well. Our room was very comfortable. We found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was available in the restaurant or delivered to your room. We opted to eat in the room. The menu had several offerings and all were plentiful and delicious. The delivery was prompt and friendly. We recommend this hotel.

Perhaps my 20th stay here. I won’t be back. Poor service in restaurant and food nowhere near as good as it used to be. Even had to pour my own wine? Not enough staff and those present seemed overworked, harassed and disinterested. Room was not very nice compared to the ones I used to get in the Domaine. Very very expensive now for a most ordinary experience. And why would I want a 9 course all-vollaille meal ?

Basic rooms with very low quality bedding , quite uncomfortable. Probably ikea has better quality and design. Unwelcoming vibes, dirty carpets with stains in hallways. Not even a glass of water on offer. Apparently best in Chablis. Such a shame and disappointment. Do not stay here.
