Hongyang Hotel (Tongren High-speed Railway Station)

Super convenient ! 3 minutes walk from railway, and it got a lot of restaurants and 24 hoys convenient store just below the hotel.

Spacious room with washing machine in the room. There also a mahjong table in the room. Good wifi connection. Comfortable bed. Big TV. Will stay here again.

No complaints for that price, biggest selling point for me was the location which is hard to beat, right next to the train station and very close to the tourist bus station where the bus to Fanjingshan leaves from. Note that as of early November 2025, there are no longer any signs of the hotel on the front door downstairs, but don't worry, it's still there, just walk past the front desk to the elevators and ride up to the eleventh floor.

First and foremost, do not be put off by the appearance of the entrance and elevator to the hotel. Although first impressions are important, for some reason, it does not apply to this little gem of a hotel. As soon as you get to the hotel floor, everything is much better. The rooms are spacious and clean, fixtures are of high quality, sound proofing in between rooms are very good. Noise from train station is not too bothersome for us, and the hotel does provide ear plugs should you need them.  Location couldn’t be more convenient- train station, long distance buses and local buses are within walking distance. Eateries, a big supermarket on the 2nd floor of a mall close to the long distance bus station is also available. Smaller convenience stores are all over the place.  Only gripe: hotel would not provide an extra pillow and housekeeping was adamant that only 2 pillows are allowed per room😩 Front desk staff was very helpful in assisting guests to whatever sightseeing questions one might have

Excellent hotel. Room was very big, nice design, had a great view and very clean. All facilities were great, and especially loved having a washing machine in the room, super useful. Location is perfect, right next to train station, 5 minutes walk from the bus station (to get to Fanjing Mountain), and plenty of places to eat nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. The building houses multiple hotels, so once you're outside there's a sign saying which floor to go to for each hotel. Great value stay.
