１０ I used a day trip hot spring when I camped in the neighborhood more than a year ago. This time I stayed with my family for two nights. The food is very delicious and I am very satisfied with the detailed service. The bath was quite lukewarm with Koho no Yu ３０ C, but the other open-air baths were at a suitable temperature and were very relaxing with the sound of the river flow and the clean air in nature. The open-air bath is definitely the best in the world. At the time of check-out １０, there was a live broadcast of the marathon on TV, and when I was watching it with my family, an employee knocked. The buffet is delicious. You can choose from a variety of dishes, and there are many plans. I take a direct shuttle bus from Tokyo Station. Although it takes time, it is straightforward and therefore very convenient. I went in winter, but the open-air bath in the snow was very pleasant. There are many types of baths and they are very good. I think family and friends can enjoy it. We used massage but it was good and comfortable.

Awesome hotel! Although some places look old, they are very clean and tidy, so they are not affected. Dinner is set but it's different every day, some days are amazing. Breakfast was buffet but basically nothing changed. The hot springs are very good, especially the outdoor hot springs. Snow falling on the body under the stars feels special. The hotel staff is the most hardworking I've ever seen, and the same person dials the front desk, the restaurant and so on. There is a young man named Pu who speaks some Chinese in South Korea who is very friendly and tries to meet the various needs of guests. The only thing that was not very satisfactory was the attitude of a typical Japanese male who was rather perfunctory. We wanted to change the dinner time one day and he refused. Later, I asked the young man named Park, he said yes, and then called and confirmed with the restaurant to help us improve our time. All in all a hotel worth visiting again.

It seems contradictory, but it is an extraordinary experience to be very relaxed. The location is not a hot spring town, in a quiet countryside. This time, it was wrapped in autumn leaves that delighted the eyes everywhere in the hall. There is a space where you can enjoy a welcome drink next to the lobby, and there are alcohol such as sparkling wine, shochu, sake. Coffee is attentive because there are machines that have different methods of extraction between daytime and morning. The dining room is a private room, so it's calm, but in some cases I was worried about the voice next door. I stayed in a spacious maisonette-style room, but the open-air bath adjacent to the relaxing room was especially relaxing as Hiro 々. Perhaps it was using the circulation of hot spring water, the whole room was fluffy and warm. It was very well cleaned. The meal was a dish centered on local ingredients, and although it was not flashy luxury, all of them were made with their own ingenuity, and they were surprising and enjoyed very much. For example, the soil soup served at night was a potage made with burdock, taro, and chrysanthemum, and it was a fresh experience that should be called ”tasting the umami of the soil”. The timing of the serve is also sketchy, which will match the cooking time of the cooked rice according to the progress of drinking here.

I stayed here in April 2022 on the occasion of the expansion of Kenminwari. As the name of the inn suggests, the sound of the murmuring of the river never ceases. The hot springs are colorless and transparent, glittering and slippery. It is said that there are plenty of hot spring sources, and the spouts of all baths are drinkable. There is a large communal bath for men and women in the main building and a separate mixed bathing open-air bath, which is not connected to the bath in the main building. The hot water is completely transparent, so the hurdle for mixed bathing is high. However, there are separate dressing rooms for men and women, and bath clothes are available at the shop. Dinner is a kaiseki meal with lean beef steak grilled on a stone slab as the main dish. Mr. Nakai is a foreigner, but he does his best to explain the dishes. I bow my head like a hard worker in a foreign land. Inari sushi is prepared in the room for a late-night snack, but this is a grown-up taste mixed with wasabi stems. For breakfast, if you go at the exact time of your reservation, the dashimaki* will still be warm. There was a great attention to detail. There are many cherry blossoms planted in the garden of this inn, but this time it was a really elegant timing when the cherry blossoms in full bloom were blown by the wind and turned into a cherry blossom storm.

It was a very satisfying stay with a feeling of cleanliness and neat cleaning. Breakfast was included in the accommodation and dinner was taken at the restaurant in the building. Both were delicious. The two large communal baths were beautiful and the view was good. There was an open-air bath surrounded by snow and an open-air bath with a large mountain in front of me, so it was beautiful and relaxing. There were many small children staying, so I was full of energetic energy. On the other hand, I saw quite a few people staying in three generations of family. Overall, I think it was an environment where everyone seemed to enjoy and felt happy. I used it for skiing this time, but it was a hotel that I would like to stay even if I didn't ski.

There are three baths and all are very good. Towels, basic cosmetics, hair care products, pajamas, coffee machines, colors 々 are all available, so you don't have to bring them. The mid-sized inn is moderately priced and good value. Nice hot spring onsen with an indoor and outdoor bath. It was snowing and a long dip in the outside bath was a special treat. Dinner and breakfast were served at the dining area in a private room. The dinner was a fabulous kaiseki style course with much of the menu from local vegetables, mushrooms and fresh water fish. There was a small museum just behind the ryokan with modern art and Korean antique porcelain, and an eclectic collection of several other paintings. The museum's owner is from the small mountain village and the owner of the famous 'Tenichi' tempura chain. A enjoyable museum worth the visit while going on a walk. The service was very good and appears the two main managers were husband/wife ensuring you feel welcomed and looked after. As we were getting ready to check out a gentleman from the ryokan was already out in the cold and snow, removing snow from our car windows.

There is a slope in front of you and the best location. This time, I used a plan with a ski lift ticket, so it was very good value. The room was a long time ago, but there is no problem because it only sleeps after skiing. The gondola from Naeba Ski Resort to the next Kagura Ski Resort was wonderful. However, it was difficult to have a balanced meal because it was an accommodation plan without meals. Since it was a weekday, there were many restaurants on holidays, and I felt that every restaurant was generally more valuable than the quality. There are two large communal baths, but one of the men's baths was under repair and could not be used, and the only underground large communal bath that was available was incredibly far away. Also, it was dark and lacking in cleanliness, probably because it wasn't cleaned very well, so I didn't want to enter twice. I think it would be difficult to stay unless it was for skiing purposes.

Ultra modern hotel. Each room has beautiful river and mountain views. Very clean everywhere. Private hot spring bath on balcony is wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Maybe the best standard sized room of any hotel I've visited. We have visited a number of onsen hotels around Japan and this one was our favorite; both for the room and the meals. The problem here is that the beautiful small shops on the quaint street are almost all closed; and not for the season. I know business will pick up in the winter when skiers from nearby Tokyo come here but it is too bad that the shops have failed. Something needs to be done to bring more traffic and create things to do outside the hotel. The river in September is low so no rafting or kayaking. If you like to hike there are many trails in the surrounding areas.
