It was amazing! The receptionist was very kind and we had a beautiful view of the city of Toledo from our room.

Compared to the price, the cost-effectiveness was very poor, and it is a small restaurant, so you can not eat comfortably, and the facilities are old...

Unique property is a vintage repurposed ceramics factory that in part presents some of the challenges as a hotel. We stayed in room #209 that had a terrace with a city view. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the terrace due to a close active hornet’s nest that swarmed quickly. The property is a thirty-minute walk to old town Toledo so car/taxi/bus access is more realistic. The bus stop directly in front of the hotel is convenient. Our room was tired in need of refurbishment. It was necessary to unplug the one lamp for an outlet to charge a phone. Breakfast was a disappointment with only cold food choices and the TV had only a couple of Spanish stations. The worst part was the non-functional climate control. I awakened at 2 AM in a pool of sweat and went to the front desk at 2 AM and asked to be changed to a room with functional air conditioning. The desk clerk asked what the thermostat was set to and at that time I had turned it down to 15C which only made it hotter. The desk clerk advised that many of their rooms had the thermostat wired ‘backwards’ so I really need to turn the thermostat up to 30C to lower the temperature. You have to be kidding. Here was an error that the hotel was completely aware of, yet they did nothing to fix it or inform their clients of the required ‘work-around’ to make the climate control function. (The fix requires swapping two wires on the back of the thermostat – less than a minute task). Why would the hotel leave it to guests to determine that they wired the thermostats backwards? At 7 AM after five hours of A/C operation at maximum fan speed the room temp was down to 25C (77F). During the heat of the day, there is no way this weak A/C could keep the room temperature in a ‘livable’ range. In summary, the property had promise but poor execution renders it unacceptable at any price.

While this hotel is a Marriot, don't expect the big US chain with all the amenities. It is a historic, unique building with many little details and amazing views! We booked a king with a view which included a huge patio, just for our use, overlooking the ravine. You could see the old town Toledo in the distance. It was beautiful-all lite up at night. Grand homes surrounded the property. The staff was excellent & so helpful. Parking is available but requires a flight of stairs. We loaded and unloaded our luggage at the bus stop, which is right outside the hotel door. The Toledo hop on/off bus stops there as well, very convenient. The restaurant was closed during our stay.

Awesome! We were ver close to the Casco Histórico and El Río Tajo which wraps itself around the city. This hotel had the most generous breakfast, clean rooms and helpful staff. It was quiet and perfect for my family who do not the touristy areas

After reading some recent reviews we were nervous about staying. We have had a very good stay! Only 2 nights but absolutely fulfilled our needs. Yes. rooms are a bit tired but clean, spacious and a comfortable bed. We had a terrace with small city view which was pleasant. The staff all went above and beyond. We ate in the hotel 1 evening and had very nice tapas and wine. Yes, the hotel is a fair walk from the old town BUT there is a bus stop right outside the the hotel. For public (I think 1 euro) and hop on hop off. Plus the tourist train. The parking is excellent.

I can’t remember a more chaotic Marriott property, after many years of bookings. The staff are aggrieved to be pulled away from their private lives to assist customers. One gets the sense that random individuals are kidnapped from the street and forced to act like employees for a day, after which they are released again to the wild. Promises are unkept (the bar opens at 5:30. The restaurant opens at 7:00. OK, if you can find the person who is meant to be serving. Good luck!). Menus mean nothing. They are mere examples of food and drink that would be served at a place that really cared about … well … anything. The location is more than a walkable distance from the old Town. Happily, there is a bus stop right outside the front door, with a single bus line — the L71 — about which the staff can tell you … absolutely nothing useful. “Coffee is available 24/7”. Actually, an unusable coffee machine is accessible 24/7, and any requests for assistance are met with an indifferent shrug. I had to keep reviewing my booking to confirm that, yes, this is a Marriott property. Nice view, though.

Wonderful experience such a charming hotel with a feeling of old time century. The front reception staff are excellent with great knowledge, looking to really make your Toledo experience maravilloso. I was giving an upgraded room with an amazing view of the old city. The rooms are lovely well cleaned and very rustic old charm. The hotel as a restaurant and lobby bar. No coffee markers in the room they have a nespresso machine complimentary all day. They offer free parking on the hotel grounds I would recommend this hotel for a different experience.

The hotel had a stunning view, comfortable beds and very friendly staff. There were very loud crickets outside our bedroom but that's nothing the hotel could have done. As Toledo is quite a secluded city, we relied on hotel food, their selection was very limited which was a shame.

Beautiful hotel set one mile outside of city center with gorgeous view of ancient Toledo. Friendly and attentive staff and comfortable room. Small and intimate escape. A patio would be nice addition.

Interesting property with a weird layout (lobby is on the 3rd floor) and difficult parking lot but with amazing views of historic Toledo including about half the hotel rooms. However, for the price charged they should be ashamed to only offer Spanish language TV (not one channel in another language) which I am sure does NOT conform to Marriott standards. Also, their expensive buffet breakfast does not offer any hot food (except a warm Spanish torte) which is also disappointing for the price charged ... just cold food. Staff are courteous and bed very comfortable. HDTV is very large. Hard keys still in use for rooms and quite awkward and difficult to use if not use to this old lock systems. Overdue to be replaced with electronic key card entry system with room power connected.
