After many years of watching, we finally decided to meet the hotel, one of the few who accept pets, at least in the research I made. The cardboard is very diverse, with prices very affordable. Wi-Fi worked satisfactorily and the strong point are the outer areas (sports squares) and the Milka mascot, which we loved. The rooms are very large and are comfortable, the extra beds could be softer and the shower spreader, better adjusted (very wide). The pool is large, some details are just needing repairs on the floor. For anyone who wants to travel and wants to take the pet together (I am not very fan of pet hotels), you need to comply with their rules, but no doubt is a big difference.

Hotel in itself is good, clean rooms, clean pool and bathroom for children and adults, restaurant food is very good, in the new year's dinner the buffet was good taste, all they promised in dinner was fulfilled, with open drinks and everything else, The hotel was very comfortable and it was very good to stay at the party until 4:00 p.m. Put the sound at the end of the apartment with a 7-year-old child trying to sleep was the reason I wouldn't go back to the hotel, I asked to lower the sound out, but the answer of the arrogant receptionist who was at that morning it was that I had been warned of the sound, and that I will continue until 4h of the morning, but that could change the room (total lack of respect for the other guests), in the VDD, I was never warned if I had not gone) and we will combine sound environment ok but the sound seemed to be inside the room so as the beds tremble! The hotel in Cascavel is very good as those in Toledo, and white pato where I have been hosted several times. But on the date of 15052023 I went to the restaurant at 21:45 and asked a nice file to the parmegiana and it was the worst that I ever eaten. To say the minimum, everything was heated in the microwave because outside the food was cold and inside it was boiling and raging smoke, the old rice, the ”file” dry and probably was ready since lunch time, almost no sauce was made tomat, and so little did not sweat the dish. Even so I eat all the file alone of anger and also was very hungry. Even so a sad experience in the tangential service of the kitchen, which I see should be tertiary, because it is not at the level of the Master network, which enjoys my prestige especially. I hope that this modest contribution can be taken into account for improving this culinary service currently offered in that unit.

The Ibis hotel brand is pretty standard worldwide, providing a rather spartan environment that is typically clean, functional and perfect for a short stay. The Cascavel branch is typical, though it is almost more sterile than spartan: apart from the built-in cupboards the rooms contain no furniture other than a bed and a red plastic chair. The bathrooms are similarly spare – not even a plastic cup for a toothbrush. The rooms also lack a safe for valuables. However, the check in agent was very sweet and helpful, and basically advised me not to bother with the hotel ‘restaurant’, as all the meals just came frozen. A genuinely warm welcome like this is worth a lot in a chain hotel! The breakfast was standard for Brazil and I don’t quite follow why other guests found it unsatisfactory. There was an ample choice of fruits, cheeses, breads and hot dishes, even for me as a vegetarian. Everything was fresh and wholesome. Much nicer fare than Ibis in the London airports! Overall, I think the recently built Ibis Cascavel is decent value for money.
