Good location near tourist attraction : sensoji temple, a lot of restaurants, supermarket and mini marts. Easy to find food anytime. 8 mins Walking distance to Tsukuba express line. Friendly hotel staffs and got free breakfast. They will clean the room every 3 days, but they will change towels and throw garbage every day. Overall We are satisfied staying there.

I would like to write about my stay in Asakusa hotel during 30/4- 3/5 last week
First I would like to appreciate the staff service , they are helpful and caring about my check in arrangement and question . Also the room is also quite good with good setting and daily necessities. I will consider another chance to stay in Asakusa View Hotel on my next trip.
However, I would like to point out our room was noisy during the rainy and windy day , the window had noise and casued trouble for our sleep . Me and my dad were barely slept on that night.

The normal check-in time is after 1500, but it's lucky that we can check-in earlier since our room is ready - we arrived there ~1230. We selected Panda room located on 4/F, so there is beautiful spot at 4/F lift lobby for taking photos.
The room is normal size as Tokyo's hotel room, we have space to open 2 luggage (24”) but after opened difficult to walk. However, we did not stay much time inside hotel room, and actually the bed is 1.62m good enough for 2 adults + 1kid, .it's fine for us.
We also booked the breakfast, and it's buffet style with Japanese and Western style food, so far so good.
After we checkout the next day, we kept our luggage at hotel and go for sightseeing and shopping nearby; and return pack to hotel for picking up the luggage and head to airport.

We stayed here for 3 nights. And I must say it is one of the best hotels i have stayed at in Tokyo. During my first visit to Tokyo last 2024, we stayed in Hilton Tokyo. But on our second visit this May 2025 with my family, we chose to stay within Asakusa area. I have read a lot of good reviews of Asakusa Tobu Hotel, so we tried to book a room here for 3 nights. We arrived around 11am, the staff at the front desk told us that the check-in time is 2pm but since they have available rooms, he allowed us to check-in earlier without a fee. Wow!
The room is very clean, like newly built, water flow is great, amenities are complete. My son also enjoyed the bath tub. The CORNER TWIN ROOM A is big enough for our family of 3. We even stayed there for a whole day because we were very tired walking around tokyo the previous days so we rested for a whole day. And we had the best stay in Tokyo. The breakfast is also great. Ample food choices. They even let you take out the food if you are not able to dine in (if you are leaving early for a tour, you can ask them for take out boxes for breakfast and they will gladly provide you).
We will definitely book here again!

room is bigger than the usual japan hotels. the extra space with the couch and small table by the window is a great addition to the comfort we experienced during our stay. there is enough space to move around and lay open the luggages. i hope they create a ramp to ease carrying the luggages up and down the front doors of the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations in every possible way. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive to every detail. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and I was immediately impressed by the elegant and clean lobby.
The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the linens felt luxurious. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches such as complimentary bottled water, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked minibar. The bathroom was modern and included all the amenities I needed, including high-quality toiletries.
What really made my stay exceptional was the outstanding service. Every staff member I encountered went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight — a wide variety of fresh and delicious options, including both Western and local dishes.
The hotel’s location was perfect — close to major attractions, yet peaceful and quiet at night.
Overall, I had a truly wonderful experience. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, service, and quality. Five stars!

If you’re looking for a peaceful, no-fuss place to stay in Tokyo, Hotel MyStays Ueno Iriyaguchi is a solid pick! Check-in and check-out were super smooth, and shoutout to one of the Indonesian staff members who was especially warm and helpful – really made us feel welcome.
Toiletries are free-flow at the counter, so just help yourself. There’s also a washing machine and dryer on-site, which was super handy – meant we could pack lighter and plan better.
What I loved most was the little in-room kitchenette – complete with an electric stove, cutlery, plates, bowls, pans, dish soap, and even a chopping board and knife! Just request what you need at the counter, and they’ll sort you out.
The room is on the smaller side if you’re comparing to hotels outside Japan, but totally normal by Japanese standards, and honestly, it was cozy and well-equipped.
Location-wise, it’s near plenty of convenience stores and even a 24-hour supermarket. Plus, the area is peaceful at night, not busy or noisy – perfect for a good rest after a day out.
Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a quiet, comfortable base in Tokyo. 👍

I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at a delightful hotel in Ueno, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! Its location is simply perfect—just footsteps away from nUeno Station, and even the Shinkansen train station. This makes getting around Tokyo and beyond incredibly convenient, whether you're heading to popular attractions or venturing out to other cities.
The hotel itself has a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. My room was neatly decorated and provided a relaxing space after a long day of exploring.
Surrounding the hotel are plenty of charming restaurants and shops, allowing you to immerse yourself in the local culture. Ueno's vibrant streets and nearby Ueno Park offer a perfect blend of excitement and tranquility.
If you're looking for a convenient and comfortable base to explore Tokyo, this hotel is an excellent choice. I can’t wait for my next visit!

The hotel is quite new, close to JR station & subway Hibiya line exit 3. Not too far from ginza line, but need to walk a bit if you take Keisei Skyliner.
Hotel offer very good breakfast selections, chhose a main and get the rest from fresh fruit & salad bar.
Ueno is not exactly at the heart of tokyo... so you do not see the crowd like Shinjuku, Shibuya or Ginza. There is no high class department stores, or fancy supermarkets. But there is a small OIOI, and few drugstores, so one star deduction from location.
I love the hotel, but not sure about staying in a hotel in Ueno area.

Amazing
EElisabhetaeWe were happy with everything! The perfect location for exploring Tokyo: 4 minutes from the metro, two metro lines nearby, which are very convenient. Norme is new and clean, we had room 201. The description says that it is a one-room number, but in fact it was 3 rooms! Norme is spacious and large! Everything is clean, a comfortable bathroom, in the toilet you can open the window and look out onto the street, we also liked that. The room is in a modern Japanese style, there is a tatami with a Japanese table for meals, we always had dinner on the tatami. The photos completely match the description! The perfect place!

MMuji1754We stayed in bunk bed room. It was fun but very small. We’re like in train cabin haha. But we liked the hotel and onsen. Onsen needs some cleaning. The location of the hotel was good. We liked the most was the breakfast !!!! Walking distance to Asakusa temple. Of course we loved free drinks in the lobby. Overall we liked this hotel.

GGuest UserIt's a bit of a walk from the station, but it's located right next to Kappabashi Tool Street, so it's the best location for those who want to stroll around Tool Street!
My mother and I stayed in the family room, so it was very spacious and nice. We could see the Skytree from the window.
There was a raised tatami space, but there was a dining table large enough for 4-5 people, and the sofa was also comfortable, so we mainly used that.
The room also had a kitchen, and was fully equipped with cooking utensils, plates, cutlery, etc. Kitchen paper and plastic wrap were also provided, so it seemed like a good place for long-term stays.
There was a Balmuda toaster, so it was nice to be able to buy bread from the bakery and bake it to eat.
It was also nice that the bathroom and toilet were separated.
There was a drum-type washing machine in the bathroom, and although it took a while, it could be automatically dried. There was also a single-use supply of detergent!
Amenities were available in front of the front desk on the first floor, and there was also a machine where you could set capsules to make tea and coffee, which you could drink several times during your stay.
I thought it was much easier than boiling water and brewing coffee at home.
There was a little bit of small debris in the room (lint or hair), but I don't think it's a problem unless you're overly picky.

TTiffany CheongThe hotel is nice and clean and is big enough. The only one thing is the hotel is quite far away from the subway. It takes around 10 min to walk from the subway. It is quite exhausting to walk that far after a long day. Aside from this, others things are good.

Hygiene: OK
Environment: Indoor is OK. The outside is a bit unexpected and I dare not recognize it.

The location is very good. It is very convenient for transportation, eating and shopping. There is no elevator on the 4th floor, so you need to bear the weight of your luggage.

WWeezI ain't sure why a lot of people left a very bad comment regarding this property, the room size is quite big compared with JP standard (we got room at 6 floor with 2 beds (5ft size) for 2 person) the location is good (a walking distance to Kuramae station 200-350m (for Toei Asakura & Oedo line), surrounded with good restaurants such as Ramen, Tonkatsu (authentic one open since 1977), origin Japan (ready to eat JP meals & side dishes), etc. including a good Patisserie shops, a convenience stores (Lawson, Family mart, 7-11, local supermarket). Yes they have a rule regarding towels (1/ea/2 nights) & cleaning services (not on daily basis but if you want you can ask them to do), the guy at the receptionist may not always smile but if you asked something he's always respond & support, they have a common area (2nd floor) which there is kitchen, kitchen utensils, microwave, coffee machine, dining table, couches and air conditioning (and they are allowed us to use with free of charge) personally my friend & I would booked this hotel if we visit Tokyo next time.

HHemaThe hotel is in a great location, with a small shopping district downstairs and very close to Sensoji Temple. The room decoration and facilities are relatively new. However, once the room is booked in advance, it cannot be cancelled and the price fluctuates greatly. The price I booked three weeks in advance was almost 1,000 yuan more expensive than the price I booked three weeks later.
