I stayed there for 5 nights. There was no one at the reception desk from midnight until around 9am (?), so if something happened, you had to call a designated number (they would come right away). The bathroom and toilet were separated by a shower curtain. Even if you didn't request cleaning, they left a set of towels and amenities at the entrance every day.

The room cleaning and bed linens were clean and there was no strange smell. It was clean and there were no problems at all, but
I thought it would be old, but it was older than I expected.
The unit bath in particular looked dirty with yellowing from years, which made bathing a little difficult.
When you check in, you choose an instant tea bag and a small paper cup, and drink from the water server on each floor.
I was surprised to see that the heating was already on and the lights were on, thinking that someone must have been there.
There was no notice when I checked in, and it was around midnight, so I was worried about when it had been on.
I think it's ok to stop doing that from an eco-friendly perspective.

We were able to get into our room even though we arrived early at around 2pm, and the owner was very friendly, which was great.
I used this hostel to attend a live show at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, and it was only about a 20-minute walk, so you just had to follow the road straight ahead, which was great, and there was also a small Aeon supermarket nearby, so it was convenient.
The facilities are quite old, so to be honest I wouldn't stay here if traveling with friends, but considering how cheap it is and how close it is to Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, it's perfectly fine for a solo female guest.

The hotel front desk was difficult to communicate with. They only spoke Japanese and Spanish, and no English at all. I was given the wrong room key on the first night, and asked to move rooms on the second night. It was obviously their mistake, but their attitude towards me was extremely bad!
The network of the hotel on the lower floors was very bad, and basically everyone used their own data.
