Great hotel, basic, clean some amenities options to wash clothes if you need to. good price for the location. I would book here again for sure.
Good subway connection for the area too, close to a subway entrance.

Stayed 4 nights. Walking distance to Suehirocho station & Ueno-hirokoji station (Ginza Line), Ueno-okachimachi station (Oedo Line), and Ameyoko shopping streets. 7-11 & McDonald's is also nearby. The room is clean, but housekeeping is not every day unless you stick the "Clean Up Room" on the door before 11 am. Not all the staff can speak English. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if I return to Tokyo. Highly recommended.

About 10 min walk to train station, and Ueno. Would be great if it’s closer. Everything else is top notch and would love to stay here again

Excellent Stay – Clean, Convenient, and Comfortable!
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo.
The room was very clean and well-maintained, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. One of my favorite things was the strong and consistent hot water – soaking in a bath after a long day was such a treat and really helped me unwind.
The location is excellent. It’s close to several metro exits, and even getting to and from the airport via the Skyliner was super convenient. The area has great access to convenience stores (literally downstairs!) and plenty of food options nearby, so you never have to worry about finding something to eat.
Even though it’s located right along a main road, I felt safe walking back alone at night – which is a big plus for solo travelers. The soundproofing was also surprisingly good – I never heard noise from other rooms or floors.
Would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Close to subway station and walking distance (15 mins) to Ueno park, room is clean and comfortable, 7-11 is also just beside hotel.

It’s really comfortable and the location is good. Quiet. Subway is so very near, only 4 minutes walk. I will come again.
