Look at the photos and tell me how many shades of yellow you can see. This place is old—I would say 90s old. The air conditioner is something I've never seen before; it looks more like an old heater. The room smelled like an old people's house, if you know what I mean. My main problem was that I couldn't open the window in the room. The weather was amazing, and I wanted some fresh air. However, it wasn't possible. The staff told me that windows do not open in the rooms. The windows can be opened, but someone locked them for an unknown reason. The staff was lovely and super polite, as everywhere in Japan. The hotel is in an amazing neighborhood, so on and so forth. However, that doesn't change the fact that the hotel cries for renovation. I cannot recommend this place to anyone util its renovated.

The hotel itself is very old one conveniently located near to British Embassy. The variety of breakfast is o.k. however without any fruits.

I stayed here for a week for work and it was so convenient. The room is small but functional and the hotel is very close to the Hanzomon Station and to the Imperial Palace if you want to go for a walk by the moat. There are small restaurants nearby and a Family Mart shop for any kind of groceries. The front desk staff lent me a steamer and an adaptor plug which was very helpful. The hotel is very clean and the room was cleaned every day. I would certainly stay here again if I go to Tokyo for work.
