Capsule Inn Hamamatsucho

Location wise!! Subway, convenience stores, etc. There is a small onsen for men 🙂 The check-in time is at 1700H which I found a little bit late, though you can store your luggage while waiting for the check-in time but the space was only small. Everything is almost perfect but their staffs are old Japanese people, given their age they work slowly which you have no choice but to wait for your turn to be assisted, they do not also use any computers aside from a tablet, they are working in a traditional way where they have to write everything and do everything manually which will take extra time. I would consider staying back here in the future since I already knew what to expect next time.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, situated right next to the A4 exit of Daimon Metro Station. The receptionist is exceptionally warm and supportive. Amenities include a hairdryer, shower facilities, coin lockers, and a vending machine. Each bed capsule is equipped with a TV and clock, making it very convenient. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy my stay here.

Location and the host were totally good. Of course, capsule hotel has some inconveniences (you don't have enough space to store your stuff and you can only give it to the host on the 1st floor and they put it into a baggage room, also there is no ventilation in the capsules and in some of them there was too hot so the hot allowed my friend to change capsule). But the worst experience here was because of our capsule neighbour on the 3rd floor (so I can't blame the hotel) - she was obviously out of her mind, went to the toilet every 5 minutes and spent huge amount of toilet paper, so in a couple of hours she used up all the toilet paper on our floor. The host came and replaced the new paper - but in 2 hours it was the same way...

Suitable for solo travelers

If you are visiting the Tokyo tower, this is a great option, especially because you have the chance to live a new experience. Is very well located, all the staff is super friendly and something I personally loved was the bathroom and sauna, they provide everything you need, from shampoo to hair tonic, even pijama in cool old style japanese fashion. Definitely I will come back.

It’s cheap. You get what u pay for. That being said, there’s no paper to dry your hands with near the faucets. The towel they give you to dry yourself from the shower is practically a napkin sized towel. You are also only allocated one. 50jpy if you need another. Very very strict about check in and check out. Bathing accommodations are very very small. I understand this is a capsule hotel for a budget, but probably one of the worse ones I ever been to.
