Capsule Inn Otsuka

I have tried a few capsule hotels, this is by far the worst. My capsule was on the fifth floor, but the lockers are located on the fourth floor which is very inconvenient since the shower is on the eighth floor. There is a sitting area outside the capsule room which is an unsightly mess as shown in the pictures. The mattress is hard and uncomfortable. What bothered me the most is the door that supposed to shun off the noise from outside, made a loud noise when it closes. I wonder if they are not aware of it or no one complains to them. Imagine how many people comes in and out the entire night and the cranky noise disturbed my sleep. I hope the management will be made known of this default. I will never come back again.

Nice communal bath. Good value for money. Checkout bit too early. 10am bit ridiculous. First time I have come across this in a hostel/hotel.

The location is great, the metro is maybe 1 min walk. By metro your only a few stops away from any big attractions. And after a long day in the city you can come back to enjoy the onsen. The only bad thing I can say about my stay was the someone in the capsule across from mine snored so loud it was nearly impossible to sleep.

Service initially was slightly abrupt but I would imagine they have a lot of people there that walk straight in with shoes on. However that changed drastically and they were very nice and super helpful every step of the way. Lockers are small but they allow you to store your bag with them behind the counter. Facilities offered are absolutely fantastic. Hot tub, cold tub, showers, balcony, chill room and more. The pod is a great experience and will try again without any doubt. Fantastic value for money!

I strongly recommend this hotel. Very clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly, English speaking The sauna is wonderful and the experience was very positive I will definitely stay in this hotel again

Very near to Otsuka train station. The capsule hotel is quite old. There is public bath with hot pool.
