The room is very clean and quite, suitable for solo traveller like me. Walkable to Ueno train station. Surrounded by convenience shop. The best convenience shop beside is Lawson natural. Has a lot of nice food especially for vegetarian, it has vegan foods and it also work with famous vegan noodle shop tan tan's. I bought the cold noodle there.And Is about 30 minutes walk to Asakusa Temple. I would love to come back here in future.

Very nice stay! Great location and the staff was very friendly and helpful! Room is relatively small that’s Tokyo style. In the area nearby convenient store as 7/11, Lawson & Family mart and small restaurants too. The hotel itself has also restaurant. I would stay again!

The hotel is near a station, but the bedroom and carpets look dirty resulting in some allergy at skin.

Hotel very close to Ueno station, Ueno park, and several museums. There is a convenient store 2min away too. Room small but clean. Value for money.

On a next visit, I would definitely come back here. A good value for money. In case of early arrival, you can drop off your luggage at the reception. Hotel is located within walking distance of the station, on the main street. Check-in from 3pm (room 803) neat room with every comfort, I always have to move something here to make optimal use of the space. I've been here before, never use AC and always have the window open, it's noisy from traffic. Several kombini and restaurants in the area. This hotel also remains my favorite and will definitely come back here.

Good location, but there is some insects resulting in skin allergies

Typical room size for japan. But for the price is preety reasonable since the location just walking a distance to subway station (yamanote line & ginza line), ameyoko. Got 4 konbini nearby (7e, fm, lawson, ministop). Overall everything was good.

Ueno is a great location if you want a quieter local area but still on the Yamanote line (and many others too.) If you want noise and bustle then visit Ameyoko. The Emit Ueno is only 10 mins slow walk to the station. Staff were friendly and courteous. I'd recommend them and book again.

Overall average, as usually Japan hotel will be small size and recommended for solo traveler.

They only offer "simple cleaning", they wont vaccuum the floors or change the beddings. They will just leave the new towels and blankets on the bed. But all the staff are corteous. You can leave your luggages at the lobby after checking in. Very near Inaricho Station and just a longer walk to ueno station.

For solo traveler, this hotel is fine. The shower cubicle is a tad too cramped though.

Budget friendly hotel very close to a major station, Ueno Station, and a few museums. Room is quite small, especially the shower, but fulfills anything a solo traveler or a non-fussy couple needs. Many convenience stores and a famed sento nearby. Close to Senso-ji and Tokyo Skytree.
