The location is great; it is just a block away from a variety of food options and grocery stores. The front desk is English and Chinese speaking which is helpful.
Room is dusty and toilet has a smell. But the room size is biggest I've seen in japan.

First of all the staff is really friendly and helpful but the wifi here doesn't work no matter how many times they claimed that they’ve reboot it. And the hotel is on 2nd floor no elevator.

While looking for accommodations around Shinjuku, I found out about Royal Hotel Shin-Okubo. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to Shinjuku, and the location is good. The price of the accommodation seems to be good value for money. However, there were no windows that opened inside the accommodation, and there was no view.
Still, I was satisfied and would visit again~

The price/performance ratio is quite high. The advantages are good location, large room, low price. The disadvantages are that it is a bit old and you have to leave the key at the front desk when you go out.

There is no service at all. You have to buy bottled water. The supplies on the washbasin (face cleanser, cotton pads) are regarded as garbage and thrown away directly. The Wi-Fi is completely unavailable and is the worst of the worst. You get what you pay for. Apart from the location close to the JR station and the slightly larger rooms, for someone like me who doesn't have high requirements for accommodation, I will not go there a second time.
