Ginza/Tsukiji
The location of the hotel is perfect. It is one minute walk to Don Quixote, and very close to Ginza Main Street. It has a convenience store Family Mart just below the hotel. Although the room is not so big since its normal in Ginza area, the facilities are complete! Size of shower room is just perfect. What I do not really like is they do not give extra bottles of drinking water even when I asked for it. There is also a massage chair in the room where in you can sit and relax after a long day of walking. I highly recommend this hotel.

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi
Location -> 10/10; The location is absolutely amazing. The hotel is located directly in front of one of the subway station tunnel access pathway and the subway located with Ginza line; The hotel location is super nearby to two 7-Eleven stores and Family Mart convenient store; Cleanliness -> 10/10; The room is all super clean & fantastic; Lift up to the Japanese culture when comes to the cleanliness standards; Room Spaciousness -> 8/10; The room we got is at the 14th floor which is the highest floor in the hotel; The room is relatively spacious since the hotel is right in the middle of the Tokyo city; The space is still manageable and can able to accommodate 2 big luggage bags and still accessible; Functional -> 10/10; The room comes with a good massage chair. All the power plugs are functional with good working condition; Hair dryer & steamer all works well; Bathroom & Toiletries -> 10/10; Bathroom have all those basic toiletries amnesties and it is very cleaned as well; The bathroom is still easy to access if the physical form of shape is small in size and will not be that user friendly for those that are huge physical shape form and height over 6 Ft tall; Sound Conditioning -> 10/10; We are staying in Room 1412 and there wasn't a lot of loud external noise that is very noisy or disturbing since the 14th floor is the highest floor of the hotel; Overall, it is just a spectacular fantastic hotel to stay in it with all the basic standard requirements which needed for tourist visiting for more than a week or so.

The location is quite nice, directly above the metro station. But need to walk a bit to get to Jr station. The hotel looks nice and clean. But perhaps as little bit old. Definitely still recommend.
Daiichi Inn Ikebukuro

Ikebukuro Commercial
The location of hotel is superb, right next to Ikebukuro Station with many shops around. Facilities is a bit old but generally maintained at a good standard. We are looking for a room with 3 beds, which is not easy to find. Compared with another hotel with 3 beds in Takadanobaba, the size of this room is larger so that we can open 4 luggages at the same time. The down side of this hotel is that there is only 1 escalator (width just enough for 1 person) from entrance to lobby, no elevator. Need to walk the stairs if the escalator is not working in the direction as you are going.

Akihabara
Room cleaning is only done after 3 nights of staying. U can request for fresh towels to be given but they will not clean the room or clear rubbish until day 4. In a country where bins are hard to find, the accumulation of rubbish in the hotel room was really difficult for us tourists. Also, room isn't really clean when we check-in. There were hair on table tops, massage chair and bathroom. Dust were also obvious on surface tops. A third of the shower curtain has obvious mold. The room also gets very bright upon sunrise as the light is emitted from the bathroom which is only covered by translucent moldy shower curtain. The rest of the items are good. Service is great, amenities like toothbrush, comb, tea bags, coffee etc can be taken at lvl 6 where u check-in. Entrance to the hotel elevator on ground lvl is besides Starbucks, which is near Exit 1A of Tsukuba Line. It's also close to Lawson, many eateries and even a 24 Hrs Ramen shop. This would have been the perfect hotel if not because of the cleanliness, which is a huge turn-off in such a clean and respectable country.
