Having travelled extensively and stayed in numerous hotels worldwide, I can confidently state that my recent experience was the worst ever. Despite seeing several negative reviews about their service, I thought they were just occasional lapses. However, I soon discovered that the hotel had a persistent service problem. I had a problem with my reservation and spent two days trying to resolve it, but no one cared. To make matters worse, I was charged ten times the amount I had originally paid for the same room (i.e., $300 instead of $30) without any reasonable explanation. When I questioned this, the staff merely shrugged it off, citing fluctuating prices as the reason. The lady in charge of reservations was extremely rude and disrespectful throughout the ordeal. In addition to the issues with my reservation and the exorbitant charges, the air conditioner was not working properly and made a lot of noise. Furthermore, the fridge in my room made a huge noise, which disturbed my sleep at 2 am (I recorded a video as proof). Moreover, the noise levels in the dormitory were unacceptable all the night! making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. In short, I urge anyone considering staying at this hotel to think twice and look for other options.

Very nice modern and luxurious decor, proactive and welcoming staff. Rooms are quite cosy, would recommended for couples or solo/business travellers. The bar and restaurant services delicious and decadent food. Location is very central and close to everything, but would receive recommend vehicle access, as there are not many things in walkable distance. Has a great night life scene, is popular amongst very hip club hoppers and social scene.

We stayed here as a big group over New Year. Emmie and her team are excellent and very helpful. The rooms and cottages are clean and comfortable however a few things didn’t work well in terms of lights and cooking facilities. We did manage ok but disappointing that the maintenance wasn’t as good as we would have expected. The kitchens would have benefited from more utensils especially in the cottages as they have full kitchens. Also there isn’t any air con which made the bedrooms uncomfortable to sleep in on hot evenings. Fans were provided on request. Overall we would go back as the accommodation is good.

On arrival at signal hill lodge we were greeted with a huge smile and felt very welcome..... Covid19 protocols were followed... We were told if we need anything we can just make a call... We had a quick guide of the venew... And what's where... Service was excellent.. Will definitely be going to signal hill lodge again.

Upgraded to a Loft suite. Excellent (once the air conditioner unit was explained). Staff great. Housekeeping a bit too eager. On site restaurant Liberty's seems slow and disorganized, even for South Africa and especially for a Hilton's. Free shuttle to V&A Waterfront every two hours. Walking distance to the Old Biscuit Mill (a Saturday morning must-do). Regular and reliable taxi service around Cape Town at reasonable rates, for drop off and pickup. Airport shuttle. Neighborhood was very safe Don't pre-book tours before you get here; Yasir and his team will take good care of you.

The staff were so accommodating and suggested great venues to visit for lunch and dinner. The breakfasts were amazing with a variety of choices. Taj is always a Gold standard in every aspect of hospitality. Starting from the front desk to the house keeping staff, everyone makes you feel at home. At Cape Town, it is really the finest. Extremely polite well behaved staff and welcoming at all times. The breakfast is amazing and a real well spread. Rooms are so comfortable and spacious that it is actually a home away from home. Some of the Staff there are amazingly helpful. Will definitely be there again.
