60 km south-east from Joensuu, Lake Tohmajärvi within 10 metres (lake's lenght 8 km). A shallow sanded shore of which clay bottom deepens gently. An own shore and a boat, the shore facing north-west. Wooden cottage which was renovated in 2006. A kitchen-living room (with an extension bed), a bedroom (a double bed and a separate bed). There is a separate bedroom (with double bod + 2 separate beds) upstairs (route via outside). A hall, a bathroom, a sauna (wood-heated stove), a terrace and a balcony. A charming renovated cottage by the Lake Tohmajärvi. The closest neighbour cottage is not be seen from the yard in the summertime. The yard is spacious and even. The lakeside is kid-friendly. In the neighbour (1 km from the cottage) there is a horse-riding venue where you can ride and within a 10 km radius a couple of farm stores that can be visited by agreement, get to know the place and buy local products. There are summer cafés and second hand shops in the nearby villages, where you can enjoy homemade pastries and genuine local flavors. Just 10 km away there is a small private golf course where you can play golf without the green card. Owner rents wireless Internet for 1 e/day. Log cottage 2006, kitchen-living room, bedroom (with glass door) with double bed, sleeping gallery (20 m2) with two beds (120 cm), washroom, sauna (elec. stove), terrace, and balcony. Own, separate sauna by the shore(wood heated stove). Sub-board for rent from the owner 20 e/day. 11kW electric car charging point. Please agree the payment with the owner Please inform, do you want bed linen to double bed or to separate beds. Charming log cabin situated by the Pond Pieni-Haukilampi in Tohmajärvi. The closest neighbours are in 250 m distance. The cottage stands on a slope and there are long steps leading to the beach that faces the North (steps might cause some problems for small children). The pond has clear water. The cottage has its own boat, all motor sports are forbidden on the pond. The owner has license marks for fish traps and there are also fishing rods and spinning rods in the cottage. Separate roofed grill hut. The cottage has unique gnarl furnishings, the ground floor has under floor heating. The owner makes 2 km tracks for cross-country skiing if there are enough snow. The owner can borrow 4 bicycles (incl. helmets) and 2 pairs of snowshoes. Cozy holiday cabin by Lake Särkijärvi, located in Tikkala, Tohmajärvi. Lake Särkijärvi is exceptionally clear and abundant with fish, and it is part of the Natura 2000 network. Rainbow trout has even been stocked in the lake. 39 km to the southeast of Joensuu, Lake Särkijärvi 5 m (10.75 km²), sandy beach that starts shallow and deepens 2 m from the shore; at the end of the pier, the depth is approximately 1.5 m. Holiday cabin, built in 1965 and fully renovated in 2023. The living room and bedroom both feature pull-out sofa beds, with an additional double bed in the bedroom alcove. Access from the bedroom to the bathroom and sauna, which has a wood-burning sauna stove. Terrace. Tap water comes from the lake, but passes through a purification system and is drinkable. Wi-Fi is available via 4G. In the bathroom, there is a water pump whose sound can be heard in other rooms when water is drawn from the tap. During the summer, 2 stand-up paddleboards and fishing rods are available, while in winter, there is an ice drill and ice-fishing gear. From Tikkala School (address: Särkilahdentie 224), located 5.8 km away, there is a 1.6 km illuminated ski trail. Additionally, the village association maintains a 5-6 km ice-skating track from February onwards, depending on snow and ice conditions.
