I stayed in a Japanese-style room in this hotel 10 years ago and it was a very good experience. I booked a double room this time. The facilities were a bit outdated. There was a musty smell when I first entered the room. Just spray it with the deodorant on the table and it will be fine. The location of the hotel is very good. It is in the center of Tochigi. It is only a few minutes away from the Babami River and the old prefectural office. There is a department store across the street. There is a 24-hour convenience store in two or three minutes' walk. The train station is about one kilometer away.

・Stayed one night from March 9th (Sat) to 10th (Sun). The service facilities were average. The room felt a little small. 8,480 yen for a night's stay with breakfast included seemed a little expensive for a business hotel.
Breakfast was a buffet and was sufficient for a business hotel breakfast.

素泊まりだったので特に不足は無い、加湿器や空気清浄機が無料で借りられるので、エアコンの乾燥に弱い方や、喫煙可能部屋で利用される人には嬉しいサービスですね。
移動も車だったのでICから近い事とコンビニが近い。駐車場も充分停められるのスペースが有ります。ホテルの下に居酒屋と鰻屋が有るので素泊まりでも困らないし、付近にも飲食店は多い。
ビジネスならばリピートするが、観光だと寂しいかも知れません。
