The hotel is in a very good location, close to the bus stop, and only a few steps to the beach. They have free shuttle bus from the hotel to Toba station at 9.00 and 10 a.m. The staff are accommodating and some speak some English.
The area is very beautiful and peaceful but very local. If you are planning a trip here make sure you stock up snacks from the convenient stores because there are no 7-11, Lawson, or any Family Mart within walking distance. If you would like to have breakfast and dinner at a hotel please inform them when you make booking or a few days in advance. People are very nice but language can be a barrier.

Stayed for three nights, the environment is very good, the mountain is facing the sea, the dining level is high, the service attitude is very good, there is a shuttle bus, the soup is comfortable, the check-out time is later than the average Japanese hotel (12 o'clock), do not hurry.

部屋からのオーシャンビューは素晴らしく大満足です。
実はtrivagoで部屋を取ったのですが、海の幸尽しの夕食はお値段以上に満足できるものでした。

There is a hotel shuttle bus at Exit 1 of Toba-so, but it is only a few minutes uphill to the Japanese-style Shioji-tei (but you still need to take the shuttle bus to the one further up the mountain). This Japanese-style restaurant is a little more expensive. It is recommended to include breakfast and dinner. The set meal is of Michelin quality and is exquisite and delicious. There are lobsters, abalones, and pufferfish. I stayed for three nights and ate every meal until my stomach was full. There are hot springs, sea view rooms, and convenient transportation. I recommended it to my friends and will come again if I have the chance.

GGuest UserVery nice and welcoming owner. Good way very good and hotel a 3 star ryokan with private onsen, which we used alone in the evening. Cafes and nice shrine very short by. Also don’t miss the museum and story of the pearl diver women in that village! If you look for a small village at the coast, it is very natural and less touristic there!

It wasn't that long so that's fine, but I thought I'd get a coffee while I waited, but I gave up due to lack of staff. It was a beautiful lobby, so I thought it would be nice if there were people in that corner. I felt that the sake bar should have been open a little later. But overall I am satisfied.

MMmmaThe shuttle bus is at Exit 1 of Toba Station. It leaves every half an hour and is very convenient. The executive lounge is basically a restaurant with a sea view. The meals are not small and there is pizza in the evening. The signature cheesecake changes flavors every time. The room has been renovated and is very comfortable, and the supplies are also carefully prepared. It is the first time I have encountered disposable indoor mops that are soft and thick. The staff are very polite and the service is excellent. They also have a complete set of mikimoto skin care products, bath and hair products. There is also a mikimoto jewelry store behind the front desk. People who have not been to Pearl Island can come and buy it without a ticket XD

AAichijiyouaichiyudemaoWe booked a Japanese-style room with a large tatami (8-fold or so) and a small tea room. The toilet and washroom are separated, which is very convenient. The washroom is connected to the hot spring bath on the viewing balcony, and you can open the door to go out. You can take a bath. It is very comfortable to enjoy the sea view while soaking in the hot spring (the Japanese-style rooms with private baths are all on the second floor). The hotel is also very large and divided into three areas. Each area has a public hot spring pool. We tried each one and they all felt good. You can browse the shops in the hotel. If you want to buy souvenirs, I suggest you buy them in the hotel. There are not many shops outside (except for a duty-free shopping mall at Toba Station, but there are not many choices of goods inside, and there is nothing we want to buy. , especially if you go to Zhenzhu Island, you can buy what you want to buy inside, as it is not sold outside). What's especially great is the hotel's customized dinner, which changes every night and brings constant surprises. The buffet breakfast is also very good. You can choose Japanese or Western food according to your needs.
What I want to mention here is that the hotel is very close to Pearl Island and Toba Aquarium in a straight line (just separated by the sea). Because the hotel is on the mountain, it takes 40 minutes to walk down. You can take the hotel's shuttle bus. Please check the hotel for the specific time. The shuttle bus schedule is very convenient from the hotel to Toba Station, passing by Pearl Island and the aquarium.

GGuest UserAn old style western hotel but in general clean. The staff very nice and helpful. I asked them to help phone a restaurant make booking. I didn't realize the restaurant did not open yet. The hotel staff tried calling the restaurant a few times but no one answered. Finally, the hotel staff sent the restaurant a message. I didn't request the hotel staff to do so but they did it on their own. Without the hotel message to the restaurant, we would not be able to have a nice osyter buffet. Thanks them very much. If I have to complain, I should say they have to clean the bath room more thoroughly. The toilet and bath room inside the room were just totally renovated a few years but there were already black stains and mould on the wall near the bath tub. Also, there's dust on the hand rail in the toilet.

The hotel is five minutes in the other direction of the aquarium and Zhenzhu Island. The other direction is 5 minutes, which is the main recommended restaurants on the Internet. The boss is very good. Although breakfast is not included, the boss will prepare two rice balls per person for passengers to eat on the way every morning. There are small dried fish, meat foam, dried plum, dried plum and other flavors. Every day lunch is solved by this rice ball. The room helped me upgrade all to a room with a separate bathroom. There is a bath on the top floor. Except for weekends, I am the only one who is soaking, it is simply a private soup.

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is comfortable. The staff service level is high. The only thing I look forward to is the buffet dinner. I am disappointed. Tempura shrimp and other things are all hot. Then fill out the cockroaches. They are all slightly warm.... The hot plate is like a hot plate and then a hot plate.... The fish is fresh and the scorpion has shells. There is a fine grains that are fresh ... There are fewer food choices. There are 3 or 4 desserts. We start eating at 6:45, and we have left at 7:30. Good service staff The room is ok, clean, good view, convenient parking. The onsen is good, both indoor and outdoor, but the floor is very slippery. Both in the pond and the walkway to take a bath. In the morning, there are alternate rooms, which is bigger and more comfortable.
