The food was satisfactory, but the room and hot springs were very disappointing.

The service is really not that good! No one took the luggage when entering. There was no one at the counter during dinner time, so I had to wait for a long time. The two waiters at breakfast saw our family of three waiting at the door and refused to take our seats. Asking where I can do it was extremely perfunctory! This kind of service is definitely the worst in Japan! I was really lucky to stay for just one night!

Like it very much! ! It can be seen that it is a popular local resort hot spring hotel. The elevator is relatively small, but it's no problem to wait a few times, and it's no problem to walk up and down the stairs! The buffet dinner was rich and delicious, and the breakfast was also full of surprises. I also soaked in the hot springs in the evening and in the morning. The scenery was amazing. Highly recommended!

I came here by bus before the premium construction. I don't have any good memories of it. Guest rooms are on the 2nd to 4th floors of the building that juts out on three sides. The rooms and baths have not changed, but the restaurant's facilities and equipment, probably the menu, and various policies have also changed. Toba is not uncommon for exceptionally luxurious hotels. Looking at the plan, the half-board plan here is quite cheap. Furthermore, the discounts and coupons for travel support related to the coronavirus might be a rare blessing, so I definitely wanted to go there.

I used it during the New Year holidays. The price is high, but it can't be helped since it's New Year. I booked a standard twin Western-style room. The check-in was handled properly. The building was clean and there were several aquariums with fish in them, so I looked at them for a while. The room was spacious and you couldn't see into the room even if you opened the door to the hallway. The lighting was indirect, so I wonder if it was renovated recently? You can see Toba Bay and Dolphin Island from the room, so the view is nice. The food is served through a blue tunnel? The food is served in a live kitchen style, and the arrangement seems to keep people from lining up, and the sashimi and other dishes are good for a buffet. The bath uses water from Sakakibara Onsen, so it's moist and smooth. It has a faint sulfur smell. Sakakibara Onsen is my favorite hot spring, so it's my favorite. I have no complaints about the staff's attitude, but I would give it three stars: 1. The car park is on a slope leading to the hotel, so I worry that the car door will hit the car next to me when I open it. 2. This is a problem with the facilities, so there is nothing I can do about it. The front desk is on the first floor, the rooms are on the second to fourth floors. The dining area is on the first basement floor, and there are various locations on the second to fourth basement floors. The large bath is on the fifth basement floor. There are two elevators, which are far apart and small, so it is difficult to use them. One side goes from the fourth floor to the first basement floor where the dining area is. There is only one elevator that can go to the large bath! The elevator I waited for to go to the bath was full of people and I couldn't get on. After the bath, there is a line for the elevator. Some people take the stairs. From the fifth basement floor to the front desk, then up five floors to my floor! What's more, the buttons are responsive, so I'm worried. It's not a problem when there are few customers on weekdays, but I wonder how it will be on weekends. This is a problem with the facilities, so there is nothing I can do about it, so I gave it two stars, but I was lenient.
