Hotel Europa

We were greeted with a smile and hospitality of the reception staff. Receptionists even arranged us a taxi to get to the airport for an early flight. The ladies at the breakfast bar did an amazing job feeding us with fresh vegetables, delicious omelets and freshly brewed coffee. Our room was spacious and comfortable. A good idea to bring slippers with you cause the concrete floor is quite cold :) The only minor thing is that the AC was a little to loud at times.

We stayed in this hotel when based in Tirana, and it stood out as one of the nicest city based hotels I've stayed in. Our stay in this hotel was complicated as we had multiple bookings and different dates due to us heading north of Albanian and other regions before heading south, and then back again before our departure. From the start, the hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. From early check-in, they ensured that all our bookings were correct and synchronised, also allowing us to make some modifications without any extra charge. They even allowed us to leave our large luggage behind whilst we trekked in north Albania. The location of this hotel was great, as it was offset from the main shopping road in the centre. You're never far from really cool cafes to breakfast spots. The breakfast at the hotel is on the ground floor in a small cosy space offering a selection of options for you to pick from, including omelettes made to order. The range wasn't amazing but it was adequate. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, nicely designed and quiet. They all came with fantastic walk-in showers. What made this hotel great for me was the staff. They made our complex schedule stress-free. It made a big difference and this is why it was one of the most enjoyable stays I had during my holiday. A lot of hotels can learn from this hotel and Albanian hospitality.

Recently renovated, this is a crispy clean, modern looking and new hotel in the heart of Tirana. The city centre, Museum of Communism, the Pyramid and the Block are accesible on foot in a matter of minutes. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. The breakfast is abundant and their coffee is supreme.

The hotel is very good, although it's a bit hard to find first. It's hidden in a quiet street. The city center is near, and there is a supermarket just 2 minutes away, and a lot of restaurants 5 minutes away. In between, there is a street market where you might find good items. The receptionists are kind and helpful. Breakfast is good, you can choose how you want your eggs. Americano is free, but you have to pay for fresh-made espresso or capuccino. The minibar is also good and cheap. There is no chair and desk in the room, but you can work in the lobby bar. Wi-fi is fine. You can pay in Euros or Leks. Nights are a bit harder as something near the air-conditioner makes an annoying hissing noise, almost all the time. The doors are designed to shut automatically -- unfortunately with a LOUD BANG!, so siesta in the afternoon and sleeping at night are sometimes difficult. Some light comes in at night, but that is tolerable. Beds and bedlinen are very good. All in all, this is a good hotel, I recommend it.

The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The shower’s water temperature and pressure were great. The internet was very fast. The breakfast was great including eggs to be cooked as you wish. The location was perfect.

Modern, quite clean and tidy hotel. Beds are very cofortable (i think visco). All the staff are smiling and concerned. It is also a cheap hotel. The breakfast is not the best but it s ok. highly recommend.

I believe this hotel has been renovated since most of these reviews (check out *********** for more recent ones). I stayed here for two nights and thought it was a fantastic value for the price. Rooms are modern, decent-sized, and have strong AC (it was 100 degrees in Tirana during my stay, so that was critical). Staff are super friendly, and offered me a coffee when they saw I missed breakfast and were happy to help me call taxis to Dajti Express and the main bus station. Location is super central, just minutes away from the main square and Tirana castle.

First please be aware this hotel has been extensively refurbished and modernised to a very high standard, I recently stayed there with 2 friends and the reason we chose Tirana was because we had Wizzair credits that had to be used, we chose the Hotel Europa because of reviews on *********** website, we travel a lot and this hotel rates very highly with us, it's modern with fabulous rooms and the bathrooms have luxury fittings and power showers, breakfast is continental but great omelettes are cooked to order, the staff are eager to please and immaculately turned out, previous reviews on Tripadvisor are years out of date and should be ignored as they are 7 years out of date, refer to Booking. coms website for more recent reviews, thanks Europa hotel for a wonderful holiday and we look forward to a return visit
