Doanesia Premium Hotel & Spa

Amazing staff (reception and restaurant), very nice spa, in front of the hotel you have the bus station that takes you to city center, on the other side of the hotel there is the bus station that takes you to Durres city at the beach Big rooms, good hot water pressure The hotel restauranthas amazing food and it's cheap!!!!

Good Service

The indoor pool is a plus for the hotel. However, the water is not changed often enough. The steam bath stinks. Unfortunately gifts I bought for friends in Tirana disappeared from my hotel room The reception employee said that this was not possible and that surely someone from my family had taken these things which was ridiculous and even rude. In general the service was sometimes arrogant both at the reception and in the restaurant. Rooms have their best years behind them. Windows leaky. It was cold during rainy days. Absolutely do not recommend.

On our first visit to Albania we were lucky enough to have stayed at this hotel. Heather and I were both impressed with the facilities at the Doanesia but more so with the excellent staff. From the moment we arrived to the time we sadly had to leave all the staff were friendly, extremely helpful, and spoke very good English. The food at breakfast was very good, so many foods to choose from. For the evenings our dietary needs were met and the staff went over and above to ensure we were totally satisfied. We also made full use of the pool, sauna, and steam room. I had a very good massage during our stay. Our room was clean and presentable, the bed very comfortable with plenty of space to hang and store our clothes. We were impressed with the speed of the laundry service . We had views of the distant mountains and some of the city. This hotel has a car park, and the bus to the city centre stops nearly outside the hotel. The hotel management should be proud of the staff they have, as they made our stay such a happy and memorable one, and to those staff members we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and hopefully we shall return and see you all again.

The gentlemen at the reception are very friendly, warm and welcoming. One of them took the time to tell about things we can do around and how to get about the area. Hotel os clean, room is amazing..Nothing major to complain about..It is located just around nice cafes, restaurants which is a bonus.

We chose here as it was only 150 metres from the bus station in Tirane. Very convenient and close to some eating places and even a supermarket very close by for supplies for the 5 hour bus trip the following day to Himare. The bed was comfy with crisp sheets that felt lovely. Air con which was quiet worked well. Didn’t use indoor pool although it looked nice.
