Onar Hotel & Suites

Very nice hotel really close to the city center, great breakfast and attentive service. We made use of all the suggestions the staff gave us to live an authentic experience. The room was big and comfortable, with a nice patio on the swimming pool but very quiet.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The first thing we noticed was how wonderfully fresh and clean the rooms smelled – it instantly felt like home. Breakfast was a real highlight: beyond the usual choices, there were amazing local and homemade dishes that felt truly special. What made our experience unforgettable, though, were Despina and Markos. They were so kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Thanks to them, our stay felt more like visiting friends than just staying at a hotel. We can’t wait to come back!

If I am not mistaken, this is a family owned and run hotel. This is evident in the care taken, attentiveness, and overall passion shown throughout the duration of our stay. We were quite shocked that they only had 2 stars as our experience exceeded far beyond this. The hotel is located in a quiet street with a sea view, only a short 10-15 min walking distance to the centre. Aesthetically, it’s beautifully built and has a lovely simple but cosy atmosphere with great attention to detail - I particularly loved the pool area. The staff was incredibly kind and willing to help always, even taking the time to explain sightseeing tours, provide maps and recommendations. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Our AC was heavily leaking and they very generously upgraded us to a beautiful suite within a few hours, at their own discretion and free of charge. Breakfast was fresh and tasty with a good selection. I would just recommend a few more fruit and/or healthy options at breakfast which are not as carb heavy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay as a group and I would love to return in the future. We even received a very thoughtful little gift upon check out. Thank you wonderful team! Keep it up. Other Suggestions: * Small snacks/light simple bites available for lunch or afternoon snack would be convenient. * Pool towels for guest use. * Reduce prices/rates slightly.

This is a wonderful, peaceful place close to the centre. The people, the place, the breakfast. The service is what sets it apart - though the room was large and has everything you need. The terrace overlooking the town always made the evenings after dinner so relaxing. Highly recommend

Very warm welcome, we received great tips to discover this beautiful island. Great breakfast-buffet, very nice little pool and stunning unique rooms with great views. We had 18 and 19 on the top with big terraces, very beautiful desgined rooms with a bath/jacuzzi in the room.
