Over all the stay was great. The only complaint I have is having housing keeping knock on my door at 8am. I had children that were sleeping. I felt like they were trying to rush me out.

The hotel is always clean. The breakfast is very good. The pool is fixed now as well.

Excellent hotel in this area

Timmins is the type of place where you don't just show up accidentally, you are there for work in the Mining/Forestry fields, etc or to visit family. After dropping off a family member I had decided to rest up overnight before heading back south in the morning, I am glad I chose Hampton Inn, the Hotel had tons of clean well-lit parking and was easy to find on the main ***** ( Algonquin st ) the building also looked a little more modern and better looked after than some of the other Hotels in the city and was slightly cheaper on the night I booked which was the 5th to 6th not ( 4th to 5th ) as it shows in the description above. The hotel itself was spotless and modern and the service was good. Early morning breakfast the next day was included in the price and it was good for what it was. If traveling to Timmins again I would definitely stay at this Hotel.

There is a small swimming pool, which is great for relaxing in the water. There is a restaurant next to the hotel, which tastes good. The breakfast at the hotel is a normal breakfast, including scramble eggs, meatloaf, pancakes, etc. The price/performance ratio is very good.

I walked in and felt relaxed right away. Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff and breakfast was great!

We were in town for 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and eager to lend a helping hand. The 3 mornings we were there, had 3 different breakfast change ups which were all fantastic and the variety of food items were great. Everything was hot and fresh. The pool was clean and nice however it was freezing and the floor/steps of the pool were VERY slippery. Quite a few people trying to walk in, slipped. The only upset and not even at that, was the one elevator was down for most of our stay and the wait times were a bit long. If we didnt have two little kids in tow and were on the 5th floor, we would have taken the stairs. But at times it was a 5+ minute wait. Otherwise all in all a great stay, and would stay again.

We were in town for a hockey tournament. Hotel is close to one of the arenas. Hotel was clean, great breakfast.

There was a stale, weird smell when I walked in (carpet?) I thought the fan would help It didn’t… I checked in late and was very tired so i just when to bed Woke up a few hours later with a headache from the smell

The location for access to the highway, and being a nice hotel, was great.

Booked through ******* for a double queen room but got an accessible one. Went back down to say that’s not the room I booked and didn’t want to take up that room type in case some needed it. Was told oh that’s because you booked though *******. They give you whatever room they can.

The rooms are large and lovely. The hotel was very clean with friendly service. The bed was very comfortable and pillows were perfect for me.

******* reservation wasn’t here when I checked in. Had to pay for another night on top of what I already paid through *******
