We really enjoyed our time at WildExodus. Discovering High Falls was one of the most beautiful hikes we’ve done in Ontario and we wouldn’t have found it on our own!. The cabin was sooo cozy! The meals were quite good. We also enjoyed a boat trip on the lake and following the visiting Canada geese around - lol! Beautiful sunsets too.

So, a bit out of the way, but a real wilderness experience! You do need to bring quite a few things like dishes and the toilet was a short walk from our little cabin, but so worth it. Loon song and beautiful all around. There was a mother killdeer bird nesting in a driveway to cabin next to us and a cone had been put up by her so no-one would hurt her and her eggs!

We booked our wedding at WildExodus for Aug 11/22. Angel (venue coordinator) and JP (grill master) are AMAZING. Super friendly, organized, understood what I wanted and delivered beyond expectation. They had so many little extras that made the whole day special. The whole staff was super friendly, professional and did they ever hustle!! Working with the owner JC was for the most part a very positive experience. Make sure you ask a lot of questions about what you're being charged for, and how much he's charging you - or you may end up with a surprises on your invoice. Buyer beware as they say! Tony made a lot of furniture for our day. Everyone worked so very hard to make our day special. There were a couple hiccups, but the whole experience put us over the Moon!

We stayed for two nights in the cabin/yurts. We brought all of our camp stuff for cooking and sleeping bags. We enjoyed the cabin, played cards with the kids and cooked out on the picnic table. The fridge and icebox inside were welcome to keep our food cool. We signed up for a pontoon boat tour which was excellent (thank you JP). The kids loved it! We caught pickerel and then had it for dinner that night (we purchased one of the dinners in the glamping tents). The food was delicious and they provided great meals for our kids who are finicky eaters. We enjoyed our visit. If you are looking for a rustic experience that keeps you warm, dry and not sleeping on the ground, this is the place for you.
