Prospectors Inn

Disappointing, attached are what the suites actually look like, didn’t smell too nice either……the suite advertised is in a long term rental agreement as I was advised by the manager of The Prospector Inn until at least Dec 2025. I expect it was likely nicer when it was the Monette Funeral Home and Crematorium.

This is obviously a repurposed building that's being turned into an Inn. Took a bit of a chance and were pleased. Needs some finishing touches for sure but good price, large rooms (apartment like), spacious kitchenette, bathroom, sitting area. Very clean. Would certainly consider this on a return visit. Finish the renos, you've got a gem here!

Booked this Inn because of the budget friendly price and its good online ratings. We were not disappointed, what a wonderful place. First off, it's clean, very very clean. Secondly, the units are huge. They're like apartments vs hotel rooms. The kitchen appliances & utensils provided are clean & in good condition. It's so nice to have a couch & chair to relax on, plus a small table & chairs to eat at. The lighting is bright, thats a nice treat. I recommend this Inn to everyone, but if you're on an extended stay or traveling with several people, this place is ideal for you. I don't know about their pet policy though. Best to check. Also, double check their cancellation policy, what I saw online was a bit contradictory to the wording within my booking confirmation email. Odd location for the office, so just follow the signs & the directions if the door is locked. Very friendly attendant and housekeeper (the lady you can thank for such a clean room). Choose this place over the chain hotels nearby, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The suite was very comfortable and clean. Up-to-date and nicely furnished. A very comfortable sleep and a very nice quiet place to relax. It is very close to all the activities like shopping, museum, park, and of course Tim Hortons. I would book another suite for my next visit.
