The hotel has a very ambiguous distribution, it seems that it has been growing and expanding where it could. The location is good, close to banks, squares and food places. The room is quite basic and a bit doubtful in terms of cleanliness, it suddenly gives the impression of being in a motel. The cleaning service is also not the best you will see. They include a continental breakfast that is very basic and consumption in the restaurant is quite expensive.

The room has a peculiar smell, the noise of the bathroom exhaust fan is too loud, and the sound of the air conditioner is also very loud! This is the absolute best place to stay on Revolution Av. I have stayed here for years. The view is great, and the staff is quite helpful. A wonderful breakfast comes with the room which includes fresh squeezed orange juice. It is near Tilley's and Hotel Caesar that both have great restaurants.

Disadvantages: This hotel is in the city center, the traffic volume is relatively large nearby, the sound insulation effect of the room is not ideal. Hotel Caesar's is a historic place located on Revolucion avenue. If you want to see central Tijuana, this is a good choice to stay. The hotel restaurant is where Caesar salad was invented. You could have them hand toss the salad for you like a show. The hotel is reasonably priced at around $40-$50 USD weekdays. Weekends, they raise the price considerably. It is best to check booking websites for better deal. And paying in MXN pesos gives a slight advantage in price (let your credit card handle the foreign exchange). The rooms are very clean although a little bit dated. I would recommend getting rooms on the 2nd floor as the 3rd floor feels like an addition. The 2nd floor looks more authentic. Some rooms facing the Revolucion (main street) could be noisy. Each room has a walk-in closet with a safe. You could store your valuables inside. There is large LCD TV but it doesn't seem like a smart TV. Each room has a small desk.

This is the kind of place you stay to get a few hours of sleep after getting drunk in one of TJ's many drinking establishments. The hotel is right in the middle of the red light district. It is convenient to many of the establishments that people come to TJ for. If you don't care about anything other than having a bed in a convenient location, this place is a good value and may work for you. It's not a place you'll want to spend any extra time at. That being said, let me explain more about this hotel. It looks nice from the outside, and is set back from the main road by a private parking lot which is guarded. The security of this place is good, which is much appreciated considering the seediness of the area. The staff here are good too, very efficient and friendly. Check in and check out are a breeze and the staff will help whenever they can. The public areas of the hotel have been recently spruced up and look nice. The price of the rooms are reasonable. Those are the only positives, though. The rooms are just nasty - smelly, noisy, dirty. There is almost no natural light - one window faces the interior hotel atrium, and two tiny windows located in the shower room open to an alleyway. There is no fresh air in the rooms and no ventilation, other than noisy wall unit A/C which is only recirculating the same stale air. This is probably why the rooms have a smell. The walls are thin so you'll be hearing a lot of noise (though just from the inside of the hotel - the hotel is set back enough from the street that you don't hear street noise). The rooms were not clean, with little stains here and there, paint peeling off, mold in the bathroom area etc. There are also almost no amenities - no fridge, hair dryer, tissue box. There is a small safe, however. My towels were damp, probably from not being dried enough in the laundry. This hotel can serve a purpose but just know what you are getting if you make a reservation.

The buffet breakfast is good, he highly recommends it, Candy and Maria's attention is excellent, Marcos' station is excellent, I recommend the egg's with machaca with green sauce have a good level of spyce be careful, he is also very kind. Thanks!

Let me just start by saying this hotel and their staff were great! I went down there to take my daughter for a medical procedure. I dropped her off at 8 a.m. but their check in time is 3 p.m.. They bent over backwards to help me out and had a room ready by 11 a.m.. The rooms very extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel is taking extreme precautions due to Covid. They take your temperature at the door, supply hand sanitizer, and all employees are wearing masks with servers also wearing gloves. I ate multiple meals at the restaurant with the food being good, not very expensive, and again the waiters being so friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a shutter service and they drove me to the hospital to pick up my daughter so I didn't have to navigate the confusing streets of Tijuana. And as I was leaving, the nicest thing they did for me was to actually lead me to the border entrance we needed by following the shuttle driver there. If I go to Tijuana again, this is the only hotel I would stay in.
