We first stayed at this hotel in 2022 and were really impressed by absolutely every aspect of our stay. Returning this year, we still had a very positive experience but it didn't reach the heights it achieved last time. The hotel building is as impressive as ever, being able to ski in/ski out is great, our suite was excellent with a great view over the pistes and the reception staff were really, really helpful. We hadn't realised before we went there that we would be encouraged to eat at other restaurants in the Montana "group" which, as far as I'm aware, were not 5 star rated as Les Suites is. At one of the restaurants we visited one night we were forgotten about by the staff which I honestly don't think would happen at Les Suites. Breakfast was a little disappointing as, on more than one occasion, what we'd ordered was not what we received. This really is a lovely hotel, there's so much good about it and we did have a great stay so I don't want to be too negative about relatively little things but there were just elements to our stay which were not quite at the really high standard that had been set on our first visit.

Spoil yourself and stay in Les Suites. Fab location with an excellent team that cannot do enough for you. Excellent Spa and food with great rooms. If you can't ski you can sit and watch the world go by from your room and enjoy the facilities.

Had a beautiful trip staying at the suites, the staff, location and suites were amazing. The staff went above and beyond to help with our needs. Fantastic place on the slopes. Will definitely be going back.

I am so happy to read the last two reports as I thought I was going mad and imagining the dreadful service we received whilst reading very positive reports elsewhere. Our Christmas was pretty much ruined by our stay here from 21-26th December. Our youngest child is doing a ski season in Tignes so we thought we would join her for Christmas and booked very late leaving little option. I read good reviews but our experience was shockingly bad. Getting a coffee at breakfast took anything from 20-30 minutes. The buffet was hit and miss. Sometimes the fruit appeared, sometimes the cold meats, juice and water often ran out. Order of hot food took ages and was often incorrect when it arrived. Dinner - I cannot describe how bad the experience was. Be prepared to write off your entire evening. Each night after 15 minutes we had to ask for menus. Most people were on the half board option which was pretty much a set menu with some options. You'd image pretty simple to cater for - you know your numbers and what you are serving. The food was generally good but we had usually finished our bottle of wine before the main course arrived - often waiting 2.5 hours and leaving without having pudding. WARNING: the listed wine prices are not the prices that appeared on our bill but they had missed so many other things off that it more or less balanced. I emailed the night before we left politely requesting a meeting with a manager - that was ignored, visited the reception three times next day and on the third visit invited the manager somewhere quiet to talk. She rolled in the restaurant manager. We were offered a 1.25% discount which was insulting. CEO arrived and refused to accept there was any issue with service. They run a fine dining restaurant and we just didn't understand that concept. When we refused the discount it was doubled; we refused again and were threatened with having the police called for us. We had a dreadful experience at this hotel and I would not recommend it to anyone.

This is not a 5 star hotel with below par food, service and facilities. The food was often served luke warm, especially at breakfast. Breakfast often ran out of fruit, juice and pastries with staff not able to keep up with demand leaving to very long wait times. The wine list from day 1 was very sparse and ran out of many options with in a few days. Service was slow in all areas despite staff being helpful and trying. There were just too few people. Getting the fire cleaned, made and lit each day was a trial and a half. The spa area was a big improvement but there was no shower gel in the showers (only one of which was working) and the gym / fitness room is an embarrassment and cannot be called either. The boot room is ok but does not have heated boot warmers. The bedrooms are good and the reason why I have not rated this hotel worse. I cannot recommend as there are just too many issues to be addressed by hotel management.

Good location and facilities. However you will be frustrated by the failure to get the hospitality basics right and this definitely isn’t a five star experience. If you like waiting and prompting every part of your requirements then this is the place for you. Dinner generally takes around 3 hours as you are constantly waiting. You will wait to be seated, once seated you will then wait 20 minutes for a menu but they won’t take a drink order. You will ask for cutlery that won’t show up with the food. They serve a 5 course dinner but due to the painfully slow service it will take up your entire evening. Also ALL of you food will be served COLD and if extremely lucky at best it maybe slightly warm but certainly never hot. Same experience for every guest and the constant queue of people complaining is never ending. Not really she how difficult it is to show someone to a table, give them a menu and take a drinks order in one go. The fact this part alone will come in painfully long instalments get everyone’s back up. Breakfast will also take upto and hour which isn’t great if you need to make prompt time for lessons etc If you’re not exhausted from the skiing you will be from the poor service experienced here which is such a shame as could easily be a great place it they could just get the basics right. Will be taking my hard earned cash elsewhere
