The breakfast buffet is praised for its substantial variety and freshness. The rooms provide a nice view of the Sea of Galilee and are described as new and comfortable.

The staff was extremely helpful, even the girl behind the counter helped with our luggage. The breakfast bar was beautiful and better than we have seen in any hotel. The room had a nice view of the Sea of Galilee. We wanted to get a quick snack at night and the staff pointed out the places in the area where we could go, then offered to call ahead to see if they could get us a discount for staying at the hotel. We could not have expected better service, in fact they exceeded our expectations in every area.

The highlight of this hotel a the outdoor swimming pool which has an amazing view over the Sea of Galilee and also a nice outdoor seating area. The hotel is twenty minutes walk down a steep hill to the waterfront. The breakfast buffet was substantial with an excellent variety. The only downside was there were no coat hangers or towel rails in the bathroom meaning there was nowhere to hang your wet swimsuits.

If you are looking for a high-class hotel experience in the Tiberias area, you are not going to find it here. Even with the leaking AC, which the hotel staff took care of, my stay here was pleasant enough. Meals here are pretty basic, with one great exception. On certain nights, the hotel hosts a restaurant, Shulchan Hagalil. What a pleasant surprise. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the service was great.

I now understand why some great reviews and others are poor. We stayed here in two rooms and they gave us the second floor. First impression was hallway carpet was discussing, not just stained but like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a month. Both rooms were dirty, old, with broken bathroom doors, mirror frame that was falling down and wood rut and mold, dirty sink. My parents asked for a different room and got a room on 13th floor. New room was upgraded and modern, cleaner, no visible mold, no carpet. We asked for a different room and new room on 3rd floor was the same, smelly, dingy and dirty. Requested an upgraded room and the following day they moved us to the 9th floor that was also renovated. So your experience will greatly depend on which floor you stay in. The food and service were good.

Beautiful hotel. The rooms are decent, breakfast was great. No room service. Don’t expect friendly staff. Doesn’t seem that hospitality or friendliness is an attribute here in this hotel or town. Small grocery right behind the hotel so easy to shop. Overall not a bad place. Great view as well

Not very accessible for folks with problem in taking stairs as elevators are different for odd and even floored rooms with necessity of taking steps from reception for one of the elevators. Similarly- restaurant is at lower level. AC controls did not work- so we had to open the windows to make the temperature comfortable. Rooms look tired. As a Shabbath compliant hotel- no creamer in rooms. We were with a travel group which included dinner and breakfast. No hot vegetarian options were available in-spite of informing in advance.

We stayed at Prima Galil hotel for 2 nights during our winter break. The hotel was clean, easy to find, good breakfast but not substantial as in our Jerusalem hotel, and check-in was a breeze. We were able to catch the bus for Tel Aviv from a bus stop close to the hotel. The only down side for us was a long steep walk from the bus station. But this is on us. I highly recommend taking a taxi from the bus station to the hotel. Vice versa is not that bad as you are going downhill.

I was expecting a nice one night stay as part of my vacation. I was surprised to find the room to be disgusting. The door was open when i got there. The room smelled like bug spray, the floor was sticky, the glasses were filthy, there was hair on the floor in the bathroom and in the bedsheets. I actually was thinking of sleeping in my car. Also, the carpets in the hallway are dirty. I do not recommend this place.
