Huge room with separate lounge area, bath & separate shower. Large balcony with 2 x sunlounger, table & 2 chairs. Cleaned daily & towels changed. The grounds, communal areas & pool/jacuzzi were immaculate and we never had any problems finding a sun lounger at any time of the day. The restaurant was a hit or miss, large salad bar, cheeses, meats, as a vegetarian I can't comment on the quality of hot options, but there was, steak, fish, pork, chicken, meatballs over various nights. The vegetarian options were not huge but I always found something to eat. The restaurant is strange, no-one takes your room number on entry, you literally enter sit down and someone will come and take your drinks order (if you are lucky), on several occasions we were not approached until almost finished or we had to ask several times for water. The pool bar only severed basic drinks, spirits, beers & juice, no cocktails (you have to wait till cocktail bar opens at 6pm) - these are then pre made and poured from cartons. There are hidden costs at the pool bar & lounge, not all drinks/food is included on all inclusive, which I find quite strange. The hotel is in a great area close proximity to the beach with shops in either directions. The reception staff were not particularly friendly when approached, and it seemed like everything was a chore. We were given access to our room early when we arrived, however we were unable to keep our room or pay for another upon departure. With a late flight and a child this was not ideal. We showered in the sauna area, where we had to wait in a queue as others also had to shower and there was only one shower. Perhaps a booking system to this might have been better or allow access to a room for an hour. Overall we had a relaxing time. However, unlike many others I spoke to who do return to this hotel, I probably won't. For me, I just didn't feel the vibe. I will, however, return to Lanzarote and try somewhere different.
