Excellent customer service as soon as you walk in, English speaking and friendly. The room was very nice and came with a bathtub with a shower head and tap. The buffet wasn't great, but it wasn't bad, some decent choices, but more Chinese than Western food if any. The hotel is a few minutes from Xiaobailou Subway Station and it's pretty central for downtown travel - restaurants, the scenic areas etc. Overall, a great experience, place and people. Highly recommend

This hotel is in a GREAT location for tourists (near heaps of great restaurants and bars - scenic area and Heping Road shopping) or business travellers (I was attending a conference at the Meijiang conference centre) and has really lovely big modern rooms. The downsides - there is only 1 lift for all 10 floors (which are dispersed throughout 24 floors) of the hotel so the wait for the lift can be frustrating, also the reception staff struggled with the fact I had made 2 separate bookings (to separate work from personal travel) for the same room even though it was carefully explained in Chinese and a note should have been recorded against the room - instead it meant my room wasn’t serviced properly on my last full day and also my room keycard was deactivated. The irritations aside, this is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and I would stay here again as the rooms really are so nice.

A lovely little hotel in a great location! In a small quiet street at the northeast corner of Five Avenues only three minutes from the subway. I stayed in the double bed guest room. The room was modern and clean, it has everything you need, a comfortable bed, aircon, wifi, air purifier, Japanese toilet, a projector and a huge screen to watch movies. The friendly young lady at reception speaks very little English but with my basic Chinese and WeChat translator we managed perfectly. The sound travels well inside the hotel so if you're a light sleeper I recommend earplugs. If I come back to Tianjin, I will definitely stay here again. Great value for money!
